NON MFC: Round 17
i only know a few - whereas it feels like every second person i know goes for the filth - but they just constantly rag on their players; castagna and rioli cop a lot of heat, as does jack riewoldt this year i tell them to just ENJOY being a powerhouse i think they're terrified they're not going to win and really cement their dynasty

NON MFC: Round 17
they are really very, very good yet their supporters that i know still do nothing else but criticise sigh it must be so nice to go for a side that is genuinely GOOD

also, is bartlett any less melbourne than peggy is richmond? she moved to melbourne from overseas and adopted a local team; so did bartlett (if you consider wa another country, not another planet), except he had a bit of a football background every time i have heard him speak he sounds passionate about us

pretty much agree with everything you said as far as i can tell the board and admin are doing a stellar job footy dept needs to lift i do wonder, what is the investment in football in 2020 as opposed to 2017?

Proud to Belong, Proud to Give
Great effort from the supporters, the members, the admin Footy dept letting the whole show down! They look great and good to hear all names are present and accounted for

NON MFC: Round 17
tigers are just so good should be triple premiership team but they got big cox'd in 2018 could get that third premiership this year
-
Two Metre Peter
stuart dew is rated pretty highly and prefers others to wright, who has been fit all year and can't get a run in the gc17 side cos he's slow, timid, and doesn't work near hard enough

Nothing in there remotely surprised me Smith has been angling to be on the board for some time

Brayshaw Out for Rest of 2020
if we jettison both then our inside mids will need a complete rebuild
-
Brayshaw Out for Rest of 2020
so will he come back even slower?
-
Brayshaw Out for Rest of 2020
my mfcss is kicking in when things are glum there's worse to come!

NON MFC: Round 17
everything was in the aints' favour and they still couldn't get the job done like ever other team ranked 6-13, including us, they're pretenders in 2020
-
Brad Crouch
not sure it's the same case when it's a free agency like crouch or viney - generally those conversations start up to 18 months out may was pre-agency, so it made sense that he moved when he did i wouldn't want either crouch while we have all of oliver, petracca, viney, brayshaw, harmes, and sparrow
-
Two Metre Peter
reminds me of paul johnson i don't rate him and i believe he's on significant coin; if we were to chase him it'd be for a replacement of t mac
-
Quinton Narkle
i don't see why he wouldn't pick us he's an outside player looking for a new team; we're crying out for his type, and he would get plenty of opportunities with us i can't actually seeing him being worth much - he seems to be constantly breaking down and when fit is unable to force his way into geelong's 22 third / fourth rounder? geelong hardly need the picks tho narkle and one of their first round picks for viney, when we match whatever they're offering him and 'force' the trade?
-
Jeremy Cameron
not a huge amount seeing as he was in a one- or two-year contract
-
Jack Viney Restricted Free Agent
these things don't just pop up overnight if cats are actually after him, they probably approached him in 2019
-
Oskar Baker 2020
possibly only in their assigned 'groups'
-
Oskar Baker 2020
In the fortunate position that he’s contracted so he needs a big preseason ahead of 2021
-
NON MFC: Round 17
this the top 5 look like premiership contenders, but both the bears and meth coke are currently beset by serious injury (gov did him hammy for the latter tonight), while all the teams 6-13 are pretenders, freo and sydney are rebuilding and capable but not consistent, while the bottom three of crows, kangas, and hawks are pretty ordinary too many teams, too many ordinary footballers

Shorter Qtrs & 28 Rounds in 2021?
i actually don't mind shortened quarters but, really, i would also not opposed massively reduced interchange allowance and 16-6 as opposed to 18-4 line-ups ultimately, this is wholly and solely about players not being willing to take pay cuts
-
Jeremy Cameron
wants a small fortune has completely failed to impose himself on the game in 2020; he's hardly alone there among key forwards
-
Jack Viney Restricted Free Agent
fortunately he's restricted so if the offer isn't enough to get us back into the first round they'll have to trade for him; they have three first round picks i'll take two kthxbye i would expect even if the cats do make an offer for him we'd match and force a trade it would be very sad to see him go
-
Tom McDonald
i would like to see the actual quote where he says that the club asked him to put on 10kg for this season - i had never heard that before recent revelations on this forum agree with everyone that it makes zero sense in the context of what sort of player he has been at his best, how modern football is played, and his injury history
-
Quinton Narkle
you'd think he'd perfectly suit our needs as a quick outside type
