  1. oh, but surprise, surprise another free to them filth win with a goal after the siren another miss, and dees hold on to win by +4 points and -4 free kicks
  2. what a surprise, a free to the filth directly in front and the footy gods never lie; miss
  3. mcnamara with a HUGE tackle
  4. bannon and hore both massive grabs
  5. how is that not holding the ball ffs
  6. pisano needs to get a lot fitter
  7. be nice to kick a goal for a change
  8. push straight in the middle of harris' back; no free paxy has brought her own ball today
  9. the amount of spoils and smothers they're executing is really annoying
  10. shelley heath down into the rooms for an hia
  11. hot start dees - important in these conditions
  12. paxy is such a smart decision maker
  13. another rigoni in #43!
  14. i think you forget how good jvr was for casey as a teen in his first year have faith, he'll come back to form at afl level
  15. we have definitely transitioned away from the bomb-to-gawn-on-the-wings style of returning the ball from behinds style of play it is still used on occasion, but nothing like as often as 2020-2023 - of course, that was also the successful period of goodwin's reign! @WheeloRatings - do you have stats on who returns the ball for kick-ins, and whether they go long / short etc.?
  16. love this i often wonder whether the 'go dees' car that's often parked on tooronga rd belongs to someone on this board
  17. all will be revealed by december i guess
  18. if we lose all of the following: mcvee billings hore (rookie) verrall (rookie) fullarton woey 2.0 pup brown (rookie) henderson (rookie) then that's 4 senior listed players and 4 rookies moved on hopefully mcvee stays, and it'd be 3 and 4 presumably kalani white and toby sinnema, plus potentially noah yze, come on as rookie list players at this stage that means we'd go to the draft with 3-4 picks available, plus 1 rookie spot, if we don't upgrade culley, kentfield, sestan, or mentha to the senior list, which i don't think we have to do under current rules
  19. i imagine that is all part of it
  20. the evidence thus far says their medical dept gets players with chequered pasts on field and able to perform i agree that allen will perfectly suit their needs they're not going to want pointy picks this year with more academy picks available next year, however, they will want some
  21. from my rough count, 3 of the top 5 selections for northern franchises, dean as a father-son for the baggers in 6-10 range, and a further 4 academy selections (2 northern, 1 each for baggers and peptides) in the 15-30 range of their top 30, 8 accounted for already
  22. would probably be in my top 5 if i included aflw players paxy a decent shout too for inside top 10 too
  23. but we can presumably match with points etc - same as any other father-son selection
  24. yze - i don't think i've kicked 7 in a game before; i've kicked 10 tho focus is on casey in the vfl and not whether he ends up on an afl list
  25. outstanding result for casey with the exception of spargo damaging his shoulder, again - he's off to hospital to get it put back in place which would make the semi-final vs frankston unlikely you'd think 20.12.132 to 8.8.56 stats, sorted by disposal winners: my best 6: 6: laurie 5: campbell 4: yze 3: tholstrup 2: howes 1: cross woewodin, adams, culley all very good too, and spargo's first quarter was electric when the game was hot great performance
