  1. Yeah me too, seek and acquire.
  2. Garland has been very vocal lately, even had a go at Chip last week when he ran them into trouble rather than kick to the first player in space. I'm the biggest Frawley fan you'll find, but I see little things in him that don't scream captain material. He's too focused on his own game, which is fine when he plays the way he does. I won't be happy with anyone other than Trengove being appointed. So I guess I'll continue being unhappy -sad face-
  3. I agree and forgot to add that to my post. It's an easier gig. But Cheney looks a completely different player the way he's going about it.
  4. Yep I have a bet now and then too, whenever I do it I am the one the goes to where ever it is I bet, and check the odds. It's not hard. Absolutely sick to death of hearing odds and this and that type bets at the end of every team sheet being read out, odds on the big screen at the G, odds everywhere you look really. Then hearing about betting scandals and players in debt etc... well whaddaya expect...
  5. There were some pathetic tackling attempts from him against GC that made me think there's something clearly hindering his agility, looked like Bater a couple of times. So the injury part I do believe. However whether it's a hip, knee or pocket, give me the draft picks and stick Blease in the middle.
  6. One preseason at Hawthorn and Cheney's disposal, intensity and decision making are all far better than they were with us. He's been 10x better than Strauss has shown this season, I've watched them both closely. I don't think we made a mistake getting rid of him, but I now have no doubts that we don't train and develop players like the top clubs do.
  7. If Bones fights in the Matrix, then Silva wrote it and controls everything that goes on in it. I mean what a freak, how many more fighters will he embarrass before he retires and goes on to master quantum physics or whatever he chooses to master. Okami never stood a chance in my view, but having seen all his fights, he has never looked so second rate, he has always been a good aggressive fighter, he looked scared as soon as he copped one jab. That's what Anderson does, he makes them all turn to jelly. Once the hands drop and that aggressive forward Bruce Lee shuffle comes on, you know Anderson is about to end it any way he wants. How about the jab that knocked Okami down, and he just let him back up to entertain the home crowd a bit more? Crazy. It's a shame in the greater sporting world Anderson Silva will never be known like a Jordan or Tiger Woods, because he's clearly the greatest fighter the world has ever seen in my view. As for the rest of the Rio main card, excellent, can't complain about all those finishes! And I picked every fight right, although if I was judging I'd have given it to Ross Pearson. Did anyone see the Palharas v Miller prelim? That was some crazy fight.
  8. He is slow, but he's also a good footballer. He was playing well before he hurt his hand, and he had a game busting 5 minutes yesterday. Has a determination about him that will see him continue to improve. As mentioned, how much he can improve will determine how long he's around. A big preseason will help.
  9. This club needs to take the usual methods to decide on what it's going to do, then do the complete opposite, because the list of bad decisions needs to end. That means forget the safe mid 20's, had a good season, passionate Demon, he's proven to be a flat track bully and can't cope without a dominant Jamar. Time to revamp the club, bypass any connection to the recent past, those players have failed dismally to lead. Trengove is hard as nails, tries to hurt the opposition physically, kicks goals, rarely goes missing and will only get better. Speaks well in the media without giving us the company line every time. I've never been more certain of a true leader. It'll be yet another mounting disappointment if anyone else is captain, and it damn sure better not be Green again.
  10. Losing by 320 points over 3 weeks with your captain not giving a yelp on the field and giggling and stuttering in the media is a sign of weakness. I love Green as a player, but I'm now embarrassed he's the captain of our club. It's been a huge failure and it better be addressed by next season.
  11. 133 What a great card that was. Eat it Tito, the comeback was short lived, loser. I'm a Rashad fan, he has never looked that good. I hope he kills John Jones. Vitor the destroyer. That guy is an animal, probably the only guy with a chance against Anderson, but we've already seen Anderson snuff out one chance.. Brian Ebersole is one of my favourites, what a tripper. Vicious g'n'p, fun to watch. Was worried at the start when the guy in the panties took his back, but he played it beautifully. Rory McDonald will be world champ without doubt. The only fight I picked wrong was Jorge Riviera, bummer.
  12. Speaking of curses, can we remove Chip from that banner before it's too late? Davey - injured, was about to be dropped. Green - horrible season, should be dropped and stripped. Grimes - injured, wasn't in good form. Sylvia - dropped, will most likely leave. Jurrah - dropped, poor season. Scully - injured, poor form all round. You lot can talk about sackings and politics and who might go where, but I'm onto the important issues.
  13. Green needs to do a Lloyd, and Sewell Chris Judd at the opening bounce to win me back. Some horrid foot skills with those ins, but at least 3 of the ins are hard at it, and one has something to prove.
  14. Garry is many things, but the one thing that can't be disputed is his leadership. It is embarrassing that a bloke off the telly has to get in there and shake things up, but as mentioned, it's the only option we've got. I feel my club is close to death, if Jimmy's efforts, which were strong on UNITY haven't sorted us out, I fear what will come next. Hearing Garry speak, and Todd's presser, shows me that people still have passion for this club, and there's a glimmer of hope in that. A lot needs to go right from now on, or we're gone.
  15. Sour grapes. I like a nice, firm grape, one with a bit of bite. I hate the soft ones that loosely hang on the outside of the bunch, eventually they fall away and you never give them a second thought.
  16. I find this hard to believe, having met Cameron and seen the way he interacts with supporters and the players, clearly loves the club, and I thought he was doing a great job. Seems like some sort of lame scapegoat to me. I'll be really interested to hear what the reasons are if he does get the chop. And will he pay THAT loan back!?
  17. Here's the problem with Lyon, he has his say from afar, it's influential, and we all hear it. But he doesn't have to be held accountable because he's not officially a part of the club. You can see he's passionate about the club, you can see him showing restraint when trying to appear neutral. He needs to fully commit, or keep his nose out of our business.
  18. We did, the witches hats won by 4 goals.
  19. Lol memberships in the microwave, it's the technologically advanced way of showing ones disapproval. Because scissors just won't cut it anymore. Oh I just had a pun-gasm. Now I best be off, in going to photoshop my membership sitting on a dog poo.
  20. 12 tonight please?
  21. Soundgarden - Like Suicide
  22. Weak as [censored]. Will be dropped for that pathetic tackle attempt.
  23. What if we beat Carlton, West Coast and Geelong, and lose the easy 3? Surely there'd be no contract extension.
  24. Yeah I like McKernan, also see a lot of potential in Jackson Trengove. If we can't lure a proven big forward I'd love to snag either of these two. I'd also like to see Tom McDonald just plonked in the forward line and see what he can do.
