  1. The best fighter of all time without question. 132 discussion: Great fights, rubbish results! Firstly I'll get the judges out of the way, Handsome Matt says hello and get f... George Sotiropoulos, any title shot is now a long gone dream, slightly unluckly, glass jaw methinks. Melvin Guillard - Boy this kid has come a long way, why was he on the prelims? Anyway, would LOVE to see Melvin vs Franky. Speed vs Speed, Melvin could take it with power, hits like a LHW. Looks like it's Siver next though, will be too fast for the German ball of muscle (who did NOT beat Wiman) Speaking of LHW, Tito.... I bloody knew he'd fluke a win, I just knew it. Of course he's "so healthy" right now, didn't see that coming. Now he's comparing himself to Bones Jones, delusional egomaniac. Come on Dana, this is primed for the biggest MMA money maker of all time, get Chuck out of the office and into the octagon. Wandy Like Chuck, can't take a punch any more. This fight killed me, but I saw it coming. Probably should retire, but it'd be a shyte way to go out... but then again it always is. Carlos Condit, killer. Would love to see him V Nick Diaz, would be a sick fight and I reckon Carlos could KHTFO. So I guess I'll be going for Diaz against GSP then take a long shower. Loved the title fight, was going for Faber, but he didn't do enough. Would like to see Aldo drop down and smack Cruz around a bit, although Faber may hear this and drop down to flyweight! Njokuani looked brilliant, one to watch in the future for sure.
  2. Finally, a world #1 I can hate.
  3. I think you missed the joke.
  4. What a repulsive bloke. Like a smug Gary Busey on Valium.
  5. I can tell, you're glowing,
  6. He was. Maybe Westy means as of now, they might've learnt something.
  7. Sadly, I think so. Lack of success has damaged many a supporter, and the "accepting mediocrity blah blah" mob are so scarred that they can't enjoy any small steps forward we take. Too bad for them.
  8. Where did I read Kam McKenzie? That's a ripper.
  9. "His contested marks against Richmond in round 14 excited most applause, and as he grows stronger, Watts will become more of an aerial threat." Are we supposed to clap half way through that sentence?
  10. He says jump you say Howe high. Loving his work, great lead up made more effective by how(e) quickly he moves it on. Pure footballer with the athletic gift. Forward line is coming along nicely.
  11. It wasn't every time, it was when a player was doing well or had just put in a big effort. Which would explain why Watts is being clapped off a lot lately, he's on fire. I like it, it's better than sitting there shaking our heads all day.
  12. Fair enough then.
  13. If I hear Bruce MCAvaney use the word "combative" one more time this year I'll combative his face in. Anyone else noticed this? There was one of our early games this year, Sydney? where he must've said it 20 times, and has used it every week since.
  14. There are seats down the bottom at the back row next to wheelchair spaces with no steps involved and no tripping hazards, call the ground before hand and you'll get one of those seats for GA price or no cost at all if you have a full membership.
  15. First time I saw that was on a screen at a Beastie Boys gig, haven't stopped laughing at it since.
  16. I hope I'm not being insensitive here, but if having a disability makes Etihad unfriendly for you, how would Waverly be considered any better? Etihad is a cold hole, but it's fully equipped to cater to people with disabilities. (unless you have vertigo and can't afford to sit on level 1)
  17. They discussed it on Footy Classified, there seemed to be no doubt that it was going on all day. Also Giansiracusa approached them both at the end of the game and he was fully aware of what was going on, if looks could kill, Sherman wouldn't need worry about the 4 weeks, and the 5k would go towards his funeral.
  18. There's no two bigger smiles when those two get together, makes me warm and fuzzy. Also if Watts starts playing deeper and Jurrah more HF, Wattsy will have some bruised [censored] courtesy of some low trajectory Jurrah bullets. ..speaking of big smiles, anyone notice when Gysberts cops a big hit or if he lays a big tackle, he gets up with a massive smile on his face? Loves it rough.
  19. Forget the nickname, can we edit the thread title to get his actual name right?
  20. Taking a stance about this in this thread is just absurd to me. Here we all are universally condemning what Sherman has done, a great showing of how far society has come, and you come in here attacking your own supporters for something you've held onto since back when Grigic was playing (I doubt many were even on forums then). Just a cheap shot fired from a high horse. There is no comparison to racially abusing someone and anger and frustration being vented over a players performance.
  21. "He is Pettifer in a Melbourne jumper, he is crap. Mr chestmark!" - A feral from PRE talking about Brad Green. Can't believe I never noticed the similarities, why wasn't he delisted years ago?
  22. You are kidding...
  23. It was a great effort, but it'd take another team to fumble and bumble everything in their backline again for it to be repeated. I doubt there are worse defenders with ball in hand than McGuane and Gourdis. Would be nice to see it again on Aug 21.
