And there needs to be a 'flick you on the arse with a wound up towel' button.

It was the greatest final ever, that long with that high skill level? There have been none better. My problem with Djokovic is the way he shows no ill effects whilst winning, as soon as someone is pushing him, suddenly he can't breathe or some other ailment is bringing him down to their level. Just suck it up and get on with it. I'll admit he won me over a bit last night. That was just an epic event, 2 blokes that refused to give up, and to beat Rafa at that game is really something.
-
Well that was boring...
-
Me too HT. Nadal has it in the bag I reckon. The hypochondriac is in trouble right now v Murray, I'm hoping it goes 5 for entertainments sake. I think Rafa has these 2 covered on Sunday though. I hope so anyway.

I wonder if they do anything different at closed sessions. And if they do, why only practice it once a blue moon.
-
My money is on Ferrer to knock off Djokovic tonight.
-
Again Bisping? 3rd time doing TUF if true. I don't see what other pom they could use though. Ebersole would be an entertaining coach. We have adopted him... AFC 3 will be in Geelong.

Haha, throw in Brittany and it might get me over the line. I'd love to do it (them) but there's no possible way I could go in July. Apreciate the carrots though mate. It'll be interesting to see just how they take care of you, they are known to be very good to some fans, hope it's a ripper man. Remember it's free on OneHD tomorrow at 1pm, Guillard v Miller.

Training - Wednesday 18th January, 2012 at Casey Fields

FFS, I made a comment, based on someone elses comment, and people seem to think that if I wasn't there, I shouldn't comment. I was having a crack at those people, not the people who write the reports. I'm very apreciative of the reports, and often post my thanks. Didn't think I would need to explain the obvious to the oblivious, I'll be sure to tone down my sarcasm next time. -

Why are all of you thanking these guys for their reports? Clearly you weren't there, therefor you can't take anything from these reports, why bother reading them, let alone thanking them. And Watts bashing? Really? Compared to what idiots have said about this kid all I did was tickle his chin. Fair dinkum some of you are so precious. And in response to me disregarding or ignoring any positives about Watts, no. I know he can take a grab, I know he has better skills than most on our list, I do not worry about these things. I worry about his drive to be the best he can possibly be, a comment in here made me voice that worry. If that's a bashing, best arrest me for murdering Cameron Bruce and Nathan Jones. -

What am I assuming? That every comment referring to Watts' lack of training intensity is right? Guilty. I've seen it myself. Haven't been down this pre-season, but as I said, reading daveytrain1's comments this far into Watts' development disappoints me. You can't hide behind a sportsnewsfirst article. Well you can, but I can see through it. -

I was going to mention that article actually, it came from nowhere, you look at all the training reports from around that time, Jack is hardly mentioned anywhere. Whatever, I'm a Watts fan, I was a Trapper fan too, that's what scares me. I knew having a slight worry about the golden boy would ruffle some feathers. How dare I question anything in this greatest of all pre-seasons! -

I never said Neeld compared Watts to Trapper, I said the way Watts trains, the comments from supporters at training, and comments from the coaches (in the media and off the record) makes me think of Trapper. -
I agree with the holding the cage, should be an auto point deduction, even if the ref misses it, if a judge sees it, take it into account. First time too, no need for a warning, just don't do it. I doubt it'd have effected the outcome though, might've even saved Mendes a world of pain. It's my birthday in July, I accept extravagant gifts Spewing Munoz is injured, I hate both Sonnen and Bisping, hope it's a DQ and they both test positive to roids (and AIDS) after it. I like both Maia and Weidman, very hard fight to call, I think Weidman will be a legit contender one day, so I'll probably go for him, hope to see some slick JJ either way.

These Jack Watts comments are a recurring theme. I have to admit it worries me a bit. Travis Johnstone comes to mind. We've heard the same thing since day one, lack of intensity, needs to get involved etc... From supporters and coaches alike. Disappointed that I'm still hearing it. -
142 Barboza Best knock out I've ever seen. No need to say much more really! Wow. José Aldo is just so damn good. So likable too. Great KO and great scenes after the victory. Not much left at featherwheight now, Mendes had nothing for him, and he was the only real challenger. I suggest Aldo fights Korean Zombie and Poirier at the same time. There's talent on the rise at featherweight, but it'll be a while til they are at Aldo's level. I wouldn't mind seeing him go up and terrorize the LW division, send a few of them scattering down to FW to spread the load. Referees. Ugh. If Erik Silva deserved to be DQ'd for that, then go back over the tapes and overturn 200 decisions. Even the Belfort promo just after showed him hitting Akiyama in the back of the head. There were 2 slight hits that were accidents at worst, complete joke to DQ the kid, no one on earth would have raised an eyebrow had Silva won. Dan standing Fatty Rubble up so quickly was a bit weird, and I'd be annoyed if that was my fighter, but I think Dan Margliotta had a case, Johnson wasn't doing much. And what a joke that guy is, seriously, lazy and undisciplined you couldn't have chosen a worse sport. Waste of potential. Belfort is the man. I like Gonzaga, glad to see him win, but it wasn't against much. An entertaining yet slightly odd card.

Who are the two that didn't get a PB? Anyone know? Obviously it's not Watts or Davey because we'd be told. -
baahahaha! I knew there must be something I could get out of reading this thread.

Narrowing in on either Grimes or Trengove for Captain

J Clark, not Mitch Clark. -
I think Clark spending a full season up forward could snag plenty. A big clunker like him with today's forward friendly rules would love it. Just gotta get the ball down there. So I'll go Clark with 70. If Green is our highest with 50, I'll be disappointed. Good for him, but we need new avenues to goal.

Just bumped into him in Gippsland. Said he left the house to go to training this morning when a gust of wind got up his shorts and he took off, landed in a paddock, but it wasn't Gosch's. For the nit pickers out there, this didn't really happen. -
