  1. I'm glad the Grimes reality has finally caught on. Dumbest bloke we've had on the field in some time. He'd be last picked for mine. Not to mentioned he's now even turned timid at the contest, always slowing down before he gets to the ball. I love watching this team, yet Grimes is infuriating me and dominating my thoughts. ...anyway... The Jetta. Most improved? Giving everyone's love child a bath. Pedo. Most improved? Marks everything. Dunn. Most improved? Mr reliable. See the theme here? Last year this game would have been over 40 minutes ago, this year we fight like dogs. Would be in front had they not gotten 2 BS goals. Won't be surprised if we fall off in the last half. But I won't be surprised if we win either. Roos is some bloke.
  2. 1000 weeks or less.
  3. Think it's this bloke from Extras
  4. We smashed Richmond 15 to 6. Done.
  5. We win - I pledge 50. Satisfactorly loss - 25. Belting - [censored] you Demonland.
  6. They'd need a few more than 19 at the minute!
  7. He has a sore ankle. Is disinterested and does want out. How do any of those things work against us discussing the possibility of getting him? He's worth every penny he can get. He's huge, athletic, courageous and kicks straight. Whoever gets him for whatever money will get a bargain.
  8. He has a sore ankle. The [censored] does that have to do with anything?
  9. He will not go to WA.
  10. You just named 2, 1 million dollar forward recruits. Anyway, I'd throw the sink at him. I'm not sure that's the Paul Roos way of doing things though, but I doubt he'd scoff at a 10 year star forward. There'll be others exiting along side him, so it's going to get interesting. I'm sure a big win against Hawthorn will change the mood around GWS.... lol
  11. This year we've beaten mid table teams, last year we were belted by them. Be happy with that step I reckon. A near full strength Port are The top team, like Gorgoroth says, they will punish our turnovers, unlike the mid range teams we've beaten. Their fitness and pressure will create more turnovers too, so it may well get pretty ugly. Would be happy to get within 40. Angry if its +70. No chance in hell of winning. (So after that prediction, thank me for the win if a miracle happens, after you rightly bump and berate my post)
  12. I hate GWS more than all of you, so it pains me to be the wet blanket... but when Kelly came on he copped a knock, right eye was almost swelled shut and perhaps he got rattled/concussed. Toumpas once went a whole half without getting a single stat and had no injury at all, so I wouldn't be too quick to pot the kid. I said to my mate when we were watching it, they really could use a classy clearance machine to compliment all their stick insect outsiders. But no, trade away Dom Tyson to recruit another skinny outsider. Idiots. They're collecting KPPs and light outside runners up there, ones that only run one way going by the Richmond game. I forgot what such an open forward line looked like. I don't buy the out of petrol excuse. They weren't pushing back from the first five minutes. Lazy, poorly coached or both. Now that we have what we needed most in Tyson, let's take one of their skilled mids too. As for Patton, not for me. Too much of a dinosaur when it comes to defensive pressure, he's huge and will never do what Dawes does. Can run off him all day. Jeremy Cameron is not happy up there I'm told (very reliably), I'd throw a mil at him and see what happens. It won't just be us knocking on their door, the big clubs won't need to shake very hard to get some kids to fall out of the nest. Train wreck.
  13. As long as Dangerfield is going slower than a brisk walk, this is a chance of happening.
  14. This topic usually gets swept under the carpet, good to see someone get a handle on it.
  15. My jaw dropped. Effing brilliant. Hilarious. So much man love for this bloke.
  16. 10/10 He had by his standards, a quiet game against Adelaide, possibly due to a bit of hammy tightness. Still went forward and slotted the sweetest drop punt you'll see from the tightest of angles. He's done a number on Cotchin and Murphy, when those 2 more highly rated mids needed to lift their teams, Jones outshone them and lifted ours. That Richmond game though, it was like he was determined to not let what happened against the Doggies repeat. Just crucial contests won time after time. The one where he smashed in against Deledio on the ground then emerged and got it out. Then in the last 5 minutes in Richmond's forward line, willed himself back, won a hard ball, shovelled it out to Gawn and we cleared it. Just inspiring stuff. Probably 8th is about right overall. He's probably been one of the most consistent players over the last 2 1/2 years, in a terrible team.
  17. Me? Never. I've seen them all come and go, what will be will be. If players don't want to play for Roos, their loss. Roos will get as much out of their replacements, should they choose to leave.
  18. Because at 12:00 he'd say exactly what you said. At 12:05 he'd say the exact opposite.
  19. Depends what time of the day it was.
  20. No. Most home jumpers are dark, so when we wear a clash jumper it has to be lighter. I love this indigenous one though.
  21. He could be a cult leader and miss 6 games to attend the births of his spawn and still win the B&F by the length of the Davidian compound. Edit: Why didn't I go with Jonestown??
  22. Wow, NicNat and Scully chewing up millions of dollars, this league has far too much money to throw around. I'd give 'em 300k each if I was feeling generous and I had to choose between them and Damien Gaspar and Aaron Fiora.
  23. They just got rid of Nahas, who is no good but still a more useful footballer than Blease has been. So I agree, typical Richmond move, and if they don't snap him up, they'll surely try to recycle Tapscott. Punt Road Oval should be renamed the Tip.
