My thoughts on today. Gysberts was brilliant, worthy of the #5 from the great Ox. Rivers second half was sensational. Jamar was great all game. Moloney was good all game. Jones actually used the ball well second half. Tapscott continues to impress Jurrah and Aussie together in the F50 looks more dangerous than it has for a while. I noticed 3 times we should have kicked to Watts but didn't, one was in the Goal square against McGrath, another alone at the top of the 50, the other through the square/wing section. I think Watts will defiantly be a very good player for us, once others around him, notice the areas he moves into and can use the skills to get to him. We looked scared to lose. Our decision making at times is very very poor. We will have a loooooong year this year. Our defensive pressure when we turn it over in our F50 is poor. Overall not a good effort, I really truly worry about next week.

Yeah Davey is usually too spent these days to really blitz down opponents, but that's the trade off for having him getting 25+ possessions around the ground.

I still to this day do not see anything Jetta offers, I see him chase half heartedly, usually in the wrong spots, I honestly can't remember him getting his own ball and he seems timid. I think his speed is over rated, I think his agility and evasive movements are brilliant, his skills seem good, not elite. Now I do not know if he will get better and go harder over time etc, but at the moment I have been asking for a while what does he really offer?

He was probably depressed cos he watched GC suns get belted the night before and realised all the money he was looking at might not be that good after all (then he saw us play and the smile is probably back)

Jurrah was playing up the ground early with Watts deep, that should be reversed, Watts up the ground, Jurrah deep.

It's a strange one, as it was an elbow not a puch ala scarlett, but he winds him and Jones spent a min or two on his knees getting his breath back, so there was some force, but these days you can kick a bloke in the nuts and be fine, so he could get 8 weeks or a medal the way the Match review panel (doesn't) works.

In the second quarter we were blindly playing on from nearly all marks, that seems to have stopped completely in the second half.
