Seeing that Carlton result made me think. It’s amazing that two years ago this weekend we lost to Geelong by over 100. We really have come a long way.

Goodbye Lindsay Thomas. Your two most annoying acts were the goal against us a few months ago to pull the margin within a goal in the last quarter and the match winning spoil in Tassie in Rd 3 2016 that a small forward had no right to do. Amongst other things.

Yeah that’s it. I had every aspect covered except what winning would do to GWS! Cant remember a time where there were so many deciding matches. Then again haven’t been in the 8 for so long to be able to tell.

I love the commentators saying that ‘good teams find a way to win’. I think it was more a case of a decent team doing what they were meant to do.

Hopefully they finish 4th and get a nice touch up from Richmond in the first week. Would rather none of them win the flag but I’m more attuned to Richmond’s BS right now than Collingwood.
