Friends in high places -
Interesting. I've usually agreed when he's picked Grundy but this week is a bit odd. Did well around the ground but I didn't think he smashed it at stoppages by a long shot. No-where near the best game Grundy has played this year.

I love it how we're told by all these companies that the quickest way to do things is online and that the phone will take longer etc only to find it was the best option:s
-
That's a very fair assessment. I'd possibly have T-Mac in but that's subjective.
-
Not quite. Would possibly rookie him but honestly would rather just go an 18 y.o
-
Slightly different question: Is Hogan in our top 5 most important players? Honest question and I want to see what people think. I am not trying to bait anyone.
-
Supporters yes, but there were definitely a few experts who thought Toumpas was the right choice. Including Matthew Lloyd who was doing a lot of work with the under 18's at the time.
-
Bit sad, not everyone makes the step though. Many have said we were right to take him where we did. Its not a science.

What the actual ****? I've been in back to back meetings all day. I hear my mate who was in front of a PC refreshing 6 screens at 9 had trouble getting through. I now come on here to find that most of you haven't even got tickets! What on Earth is going on?
-
Was right behind that shot. Went left peg and it looked pretty deliberate.
-
Alas this is true. Which maybe brings a more pertinent question, when do we start contract negotiations if not already? Because if he plays into next year without it, well..
-
Yeah true but to be fair Howe was out of contract.
-
I’m glad someone is pointing these things out. The numbskull behind me still berates Oscar for his kicking at games.
-
Back in the day the B$ part was all the rage.

Good job mate. Gotta look out for the armchair members! Would have offered one if it was free but glad there are some generous people here who could help out.
-
That’s usually my thinking in these cases. Don’t get me wrong it’s very encouraging but it’s mainly elevator music.
-
Well that’s true Wise but stranger things have happened at this time of the year. Don’t get me wrong it’s great that the coach has said that but Carlton said the same thing about Gibbs and Richmond about Deledio the year before. I don’t want to trade him but I still like to see others point of view even if it doesn’t affirm my own opinion. Of course, we don’t want threads on every player but if they command some good value in the trade market it’s worth at least a thought.

Hutchy brought up the Ox’s comments FC tonight. Thought Juddy showed some nice smugness when he feigned ignorance at the comments.
-
Yep, seemed pretty adamant about it too.
-
Why close the thread? It’s stimulated some good discussion. Thought that was what we were here for.

Need a couple of enforcers just in case. Not trying to sound boneheaded but I’d hate to see some of our younger guys taken out. Just need some guys like Lewis to get in their face if needed. Do NOT make it easy for them.

Nice, had a feeling. My brother does some pretty nifty stuff with After effects. Would love to learn more about it. -
Max Gawn wins AFL Coaches Association Champion Award

Watching the interview now. Great to hear about his influences and the people who helped him become a better palmer down of the ball. Cited Jamar and current ruck coach Greg Stafford who was a decent tap ruckman in his own right.
