  1. Hopefully this gets binned

It would certainly be the sweetest of all to trounce them in a Grand Final. I know you have to risk it all to win it all. I guess you just have to only think of this as opposes to the lasting trauma of losing!
  3. Not exactly a swag of out of contract KPFs looking to move..

I'd keep Hunt for this week.
  5. We love a good up and under kick for sure.

Just get on board, that's all I'm saying.

Without seeing a Collingwood balance sheet it's hard to tell. Someone more in the know could have a punt on the percentages each year but it's a long bow.
  8. I wouldn't say that I've been talking him down because of bitterness (and I'm not saying you're accusing me of that by the way). My point of view is more from the business standpoint. I'd love nothing more than to have Luke running round with us for many years to come because I do think he will develop into something amazing. The fact is he likely wants to go and as much as it will hurt I'm confident we can do very well out of a trade. I also find the idea of tying so much capital into one player a dangerous game. If another team wants to do it, then that's their choice, I'm all about what is best for our team going forward.

I don't love it but wouldn't be surprised if you were right.
  10. Thart's right, hopefully all signs are pointing to something like this after the ridiculous number of 'penalty shootout' wins they've had.
  11. We'll see how much better his running routine is at training this week I guess.
  12. Why does it take so long to get the fresh vision as well? Is there some system that every cameraman's footage has to go through? Is it even AFL owned vision or some dufus in the crowd who took a video on their mobile? You'd think all vision the league has access to would be gathered and made available right then and there. This was the same jargon that went on with Toby Green and Matt Stevic. Maybe it does take slightly longer for the televising network to cut up and get ready the footage that wasn't used on the broadcast but for argument's sake I don't care. The MRO should get every angle from every camera, scrub to the part in the game where the incident happened and have instant acess to all angles of the incident on Sunday night, not Tuesday. Surely that can't be that hard.
  13. I don't believe it needs a massive overhaul but it does need a few tweaks. We need to lower the eyes more, we need to be looking for those open teammates. Get back to some basics and doing them very well. We don't need to stop kicking to the pocket or bombing entirely but there are moments where we need to take the first option. Maybe a change personel wise up front but I don't think it is that far off, the frustration is seeing the same problems over and over again.
  14. I really hope when it comes, it comes with a bang. Not a gallant loss, a real thud. A team brings more pressure, more execution and shuts them down belting them back to the stone age. Heads drop and the wheels fall off.
  15. One of the few who would actually improve our back 6.

Yeah these are my general thoughts without having too much sample data, decent overhead and a better set shot without being spectacular. The question for me is how much of an upgrade would his forward work be on Dogga's? Plenty of questions to be answered on this one.
  17. The concern with Bowser is his 1 v 1 defending. Something we are probably in need of down back. Wouldn't be opposed to trying him elsewhere though.
  18. I'd love to see us just hang on to possession a little longer around the HF line. If the ball movement is ever going to be slow I want it to be there, not all the time obviously but just be patient and make the opposition back line guess a bit. Lately it feels like the time spent having to defend us in our 50 is not long duration and they stay fresher for longer, I want to see us wear them down a bit. You do more running without the ball than with it. It would help having a good distributor of the ball in the forward half to pick out some nice passes as well, something needs to be altered.
  19. The point is also that we hope the Pies are at full peak physical condition. Possibly as a result of not expecting to get this far, but there's no promises there.

I never thought a lot of things with United! Certainly never thought we'd beat you 5-0 in a league game! Probably shouldn't speak too soon we're playing each other in 2 weeks.
  21. Think twice before reaching for that can opener!

What do people genuinely think of Grundy's forward craft?
  23. It sounds like amateur hour. Suddenly some Zapruder footage emerges and we need to call the jury back in. They are loving this, attention that drags on for days.
  24. We were robbed, the Rioli precedent was supposed to save us I hate this league, everyone's against us, even though we've had more help than you can poke a stick at If we miss the finals, last one in to Naughton's is a rotten egg.
