  1. And if he goes to the Hawks, he’s “Box”.
  2. WA win an exciting game by 10 points - 9.14.68 to 9.4.58. Agree that Sheldrick was BOG. - he ran through and kicked the winning goal. For WA, Jack Williams in ruck and up forward looks a real prospect. SA fought hard but lacked the midfield grunt. Lucas Cooke kicked four. Taj gathered the odd possession and took a nice mark late but most likely stamped himself as a late pick in the draft at best.
  3. 3 quarter time and WA lost the lead but a late surge has them 9 points in front. Taj got a few touches but the WA midfield is on top. Sheldrick continues to do well there for WA while Burgoyne for SA looks a definite player to me. Lucas Cooke for SA has 3 goals - should have been 4.
  4. Even second quarter with WA 4.7.31 heading SA 4.1.25. Taj had a quiet quarter and was beaten to a few contests. I think he was on Burgoyne at times who is a pretty slippery character. It’s a bit windy out there and the standard is a bit ordinary. I like young Sheldrick who is a tough competitor and Williams of WA is looking solid as a forward/ruckman.
  5. Taj leading the disposals with 7 at quarter time. WA dominated the early part of the game but missed a few they should have gotten. Lead 2.6.18 to 2.0.12.
  6. Pity that some of the cream from both states are going to be missing including SA’s number one draft candidate Jason Horne-Francis and Arlo Draper and WA’s Neil Erasmus, JVR and a few others.
  7. You can watch Taj Woewodin play for WA here today -> Watch LIVE: SA v WA in U19 Champs clash on Sunday
  8. WJ. Don’t need a quartet. Just a trio given we have ANB.
  9. Knightmare made a decision to go “commercial” by signing on with ESPN and good luck to him for making a buck. The problem is that as soon as you do that it becomes necessary to get clicks on your articles and the easiest way to do that is to be controversial. He’s doing that more and more with his power rankings and that includes some head-scratching changes from month to month. Cripes!!!! He put Mac Andrew in his top 20 after one good quarter. This month he created more controversy - he put three NGA’s in his top 20 and triggered Saints fans by adding their NGA, Mitch Owens and he also has Bodhi Uwland from Gold Coast in there too. Still, good on him for making a buck out of the reputation he built up over the years.
  10. Agreed. Happy to do an amicable trade for him in 2025 with a late third round selection.
  11. The Herald Sun reporting today that Kade Chandler could be on the move to the Crows. “Melbourne has eight players without a contract for next year, including small forward and grand final emergency Kade Chandler, who is originally from South Australia. It’s believed the Crows met with Chandler last week and could look to add him to a small forward corps that includes James Rowe, Shane McAdam, Lachie Murphy and Ned McHenry. Chandler, 21, has managed only six games since the Demons drafted him as a rookie three years ago and is stuck behind the likes of Kozzy Pickett, Alex Neal-Bullen and Charlie Spargo. But he’s a strong VFL performer and averaged 15 disposals, four tackles and one goal as a pressure forward at that level this year.”

  13. Dandenong Stingrays had their b & f count and unfortunately, Mac Andrew finished an unlucky 13th in the voting.
  14. I went to the G in 1981 when we also won the 19s flag coached by Slug Jordan. We had a good side for a few years.
  15. Did he really mention Nicholls and Smith? I couldn’t believe it so I went to the source and there he was at 13:50 saying that with time in the gym he might develop into a ruckman but not one with Nic Nat’s power “so you’re looking more at a Tom Nicholls or an Archie Smith type”. For the record:- Tom Nicholls 203 cm, 102 kg played 45 games (7 goals) in 9 seasons with Gold Coast. Archie Smith 202 cm, 105 kg has played 16 games in 8 seasons with the Brisbane Lions.
  16. Melbourne's Jake Bowey set for seventh career start in AFL grand final
  17. During last year’s trade and draft period and even on the night of the draft itself, I was gobsmacked by the audacity of some of the trading. There are lots of things that can happen that we have little or no chance of predicting at this point in time.
  18. The NT season happens over our summer. As the NAB Boys League was cancelled, is he playing anywhere at all now?
  19. Would suit a club like the Gold Coast Suns where they really need some cool, experienced heads to help guide their young recruits from recent years. Izak Rankine is one who seems to be going a bit off the rails due to a lack of a mentor. Perhaps, package him and the Weid together for that pick 19.
  20. 6. Max Gawn 5. Jack Viney 4. Christian Petracca 3. Christian Salem 2. Harrison Petty 1. Jake Lever
  21. I thought Sam was happy at the club and doesn’t want to leave.
