I agree there is always one or two games a year where 80,000 Richmond Supporters roll up to the 'G to watch the team get totally spanked! the week after the attendance is back to like 26,000 and the supporters start eating their memberships. This year i hope the club is aiming to really maximize that round 1 fixture, We must sign everyone who is not already a member. Like the Buskers in New Orleans if you do not sign up make them feel guilty, conversely by signing up you join a big Family who lives at the MCG.

I Have to agree with you Jack. Anybody who signs a deal worth $2 a head is a fool, if Melbourne FC has the same style arrangement with the MCG i would say the same to our club. But i still believe that something has to be done right now. The amount of cash going through each club is spiralling up each year, and yes it is between 3 clubs as to who will survive so we as custodians of the "G" MUST get the best deal possible otherwise the Filth will take over.

I remember chatting with Jo at Thursday Training before the 2000 Grand Final. He was so excited! I Totally agree with you on the 5 year Moratorium on the rules. I just think the Rules that have been tampered with in the last 10-15 years have gone too far. Time will tell & yes maybe i am over reacting but last week i turned the Footy off & that is the First i have ever done that in 40 years. Beware AFL
