Yeah? How much certain? Wouldn't of thought Whelan or Wheatley would be going anywhere. As long as the names stay at Melbourne after they have been put on the table, I wouldn't be upset.
-
Exactly. That would result in WCE in winning the spoon too.
-
These players don't fetch much interest at trade time. You said Bartram is good trade bait. Like RR said, he is definitely not good trade bait.
-
That's fair enough. DB knows what he'll get out of him. He's probably keeping an eye on Bell at the moment.
-
Correct. 1995. That will come down to clubs like Carlton and Sydney - if they require his services. If Sydney want him they will have to offer a draft pick. Because Carlton will have a pick before Sydney in the PSD. Correct. See above.
-
Correct. Once you cleared it up on the 26th of August (ref to post); but on the 25th of Aug your post referred to Hutchy not the paper - who nabbed the interview. The End.

There is no reason this can't happen I.A.N., staggered there is only 1400. Where are the others? Yes mousey, fantastic job $2.8M+. Should get the $3M target by Sunday. Need $180,000 more. If 6,000 members of the 29,000 members each donated $30 each before the weekend it would be done. Come On DEES fans!

I can see mfc selecting these players for this week v Richmond. OUTS: Perhaps Dunn, Bartram, Wonaeamirri, Newton.

Yes Great Post. I'd like to add that the Melbourne FC has shown in recent times, true professionalism in handling matters that could of been seen from the outside world - if not handled professionally - as a basket case. From the heart broken time of Troy Broadbridge's loss of life in the Boxing Day Tsunami, to Round 1 the following year against Essendon, the maturity and professionalism of the players and staff of the Melbourne fc in those tough times was pure class. From the send-off last year of Bizzell, Brown and Pickett. Now this season, whilst off the field we have had some changes and its now looking complete with Schwab now at the helm - it has been a rather quick change - which had to happen. IMO it's been a rather smooth transition with McNamee's sacking the only blemish. Finally, yesterday's press conference and announcements of Adem Yze, Jeff White playing their last games for the MFC this Sunday vs Richmond. They understand the direction of the youth path Melbourne is taking, and there seems no bad blood again. They both conducted themselves professionally and the Mfc should receive commendation for how everything has been handled.

Well, well, well..............what do you know? http://www.afl.com.au/News/NEWSARTICLE/tab...px?newsId=66377

In all honesty. I think Chelsea are a shoe-in for the Premiership. With Man U the only chance of stealing glory. Man U need Ronaldo back in a hurry to win the premiership. Spurs - disappointing. I'd like to see Liverpool pull their finger out finally. Keane IN Crouch OUT - will go a long way to improve their position.

<_< We do have Schwabby and CC..........
-
You're not the only one. I had to turn over to the Olympics....then turn back to see if it was just a nightmare....it was. Can we clone a Burgoyne or two? <_<
-
I thought Yze's year down in the backline in 1998 was nothing short of sensational. I was amazed he missed All Australian that particular year.
-
Key Deefender - that sent chills down the spine - are you sure you weren't the one telling Schwabby all this over the weekend to make him put pen to paper and sign on as CEO!!!!!!?????
-
We milked a great pick in 14. We should all be very happy with that, whilst Grimes matures and plays for the next 10-13 years.
-
I read this, then blew up! I needed a FULL STOP. You'll make a fine commentator one day I'm sure.
-
Geelong $1.02 West Coast $10.00 Shades of Round 3 betting. If West Coast gets within 70 points - I'd be pleasantly surprised.
-
Correct. The Debt Demolition month however was aimed at demolishing a decent amount of the debt. With the HOPE that all would be wiped out. It will be close to $3 million by the end of the month. That is a bloody good effort. Cam Schwab, Stynes & board will have to work at it along with members beyond the end of August, to further reduce it and wipe it off as soon as possible by posting profits, etc.

Rogue, I checked out that thread, this would be a more accurate example of score estimates and percentages: - (Your welcome to paste it over there for their information) http://www.afl.com.au/Ladder/tabid/74/default.aspx As it stands at the moment: - FOR AGST % PTS 15. West Coast 1605 2371 67.69 16 16. Melbourne 1588 2481 64.01 12 Now whilst its hard to be conservative in score estimates the following could very much be possible with a side as powerful as Geelong and as weak and as insipid as West Coast Eagles. Also included is a Melbourne win by 8 points. Example: FINAL SCORES at Skilled Stadium: Geelong 23.14. 152 def West Coast 6.11.47 (105 point margin) at MCG: Melbourne 15.7.97 def Richmond 13.11.89 (8 point margin) FINAL LADDER: FOR AGST % PTS 15. Melbourne 1685 2570 65.56 16 16. West Coast 1652 2523 65.48 16 And many would argue that I am being too conservative with a 105 point margin win to Geelong. It could very well be much more in margin.....
-
Pavlich ruled out against Collingwood...... You can just about bank on the following happening for the first five picks now: - 1/ Jack Watts - Melbourne 2/ Daniel Rich - West Coast Eagles 3/ Nicholas Naitanui - Fremantle 4/ Hamish Hartlett - Port Adelaide 5/ Hurley - Essendon
-
16. melbourne 15. west coast 12. essendon 1. geelong.
-
So it was you! What's Oz? Don't you mean Ooze?
-
No. You said "Hutchy who works at the paper who actually DID it" - see above.
