  1. Nothing sinister Titan, they are important people who will provide quality attributes to a proud club in West Coast who have had a bad 18 months.
  2. Well done Choko! Crumbed veal medallions sounds good.
  3. I've already donated a couple of times, and got a call.....maybe they haven't reached you on the database yet.
  4. West Coast could not have got two better "people" than Michael Voss and Neale Daniher into their club to help turn things around quickly for the Weagles. Good Luck ND..
  5. Yes I did. I said, "Hang on a sec Jimma!" ...and put him on hold. Only kidding. I love his enthusiasm, and I hope the Dees break through the $2.6m barrier tonight.
  6. It is not a given yet. Just widely tipped that Melbourne will be going for Watts. There has also been speculation on Rich among threads. What is to say Melbourne will select Jack Watts? What is to say he will start at FF if he is selected by Dees? He has been playing at CHF as well as FF....
  7. http://www.afl.com.au/News/NEWSARTICLE/tab...px?newsId=65997 If one wasn't enough!
  8. If Rats does that to him, Fev would wish he never signed....

Incorrect. Comedy thread you might find in "General Discussion".
  10. Is that fair dinkum? Costa had to tell Jimma to back off?
  11. Agree. What about the costs associated with calling mobiles?
  12. My sentiments exactly.
  13. Edit: OUT: PJ, Bell, Wonaeamirri. IN: Meesen, Garland, Petterd.
  14. Host family - good to hear the host "cooking" up a storm for Cale. Keep feeding him as much as you can.
  15. Did somone say they saw Weetra at 62 a blunder?
  16. I wouldn't mind a pick upgrade either. Agree. Seems about the market trade. Blues might have some competition from the likes of Sydney (ie Everitt more than likely will be shown the door), which at best could push it up to a third round pick. Although there would be an arm wrestle and exchange of late picks to obtain a 3rd round pick IMO - just speculating. It's all speculation anyway, wish we all had a crystal ball!
  17. Good summary of what we were talking about initially until i mentioned Kerr is a match winner. And you are quite right as to where Kerr sits in the scheme of things right now - now that the landscape has changed at West Coast. (ref: player list)
  18. STOP, you're making me thirsty! Damn it, now I'll have to call through the Bottle O tonight! edit: Fwiw I like the concept
  19. Interesting Cold Hard Truth. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. But players such as Tyson Goldsack, Josh Drummond, Brent Prismall, Harry O'Brien, the Porpus and Jack Riewoldt do raise eyebrows. Having said that, happy with Bate, Jones, Buckley & Garland picks.
  20. Had a taped Jim Stynes recording ring me earlier today on my Mobile for Debt Demolition. Hope all those recorded calls going out to members are at a cheap rate with iPrimus for the clubs sake. I'm sure they would of worked out a good deal?
  21. I think Golgothan is saying that tongue in cheek Redleg. Before we run out of contenders. It's a bit of a worry, these candidates ruling themselves out - must be a monumental task....CEO for Mfc.
  22. It seems those he brings, they retire soon after anyway. Nice work. The reason he is carrying on is because he's concerned he's about to lose out on a young ruckman with some development under his belt.
  23. Yes, I also remember out at Waverley when Hawthorn players were witches hats, and G.Lyon and J.Farmer created on eof the best goals of all time IMO, stand by for the commetary: - Farmer, at half back kicks it to Lyon on the wing, Farmer runs on, Garry Loin Chop handballs to Farmer on the run, farmer bounces, once, twice, there is no one up forward - a vacant forward line - Farmer 60m out unleashes a torpedo punt, its landed in the goal square, bounces....GOAL. What a goal! Agree with all that, was excited by A.Jackovich too. '91 played I think the last 11 games and kicked over 70 goals. 11 against the Kangaroos at the re-developing G (Southern Stand). D.Bennett played alright that day too at CHF. Mine: - R.Flower, B.Lovett, G.Lyon, S.Tingay, loved Yeats too, Viney for his in and under work (honourable mention to his snap at goal in the Elim Final v Nth Melb '87 - started the momentum), Stynesy, Ox, NEITA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    WIP or WAP?
  25. It's encouraging to read about his improvement on the weekend, but its one game. I like to hear DB talk about the "educating" of his players. He is big on this and has said this numerous amounts of times. Getting his players to learn and look to improve aspects of their skills and game. We see improvements in Garland, Martin, etc. the "penny may drop" for some earlier than others, hopefully Meesen's "penny" has dropped.
