  1. well the obvious answer should be callum mills as our first pick (they don't say successful) oliver has to come under "others" and that only has 5.2%
  2. i saw that lady once. must admit it looked good now where can i find a kind soul who likes sewing? no good asking swmboaat
  3. i'm surprised wyl lowered himself to actually read the hun (and even admitted it), given his antipathy towards it
  4. well if "Tony Tea" is worried about imbedded blanks, i assume it is not too late for him to change to "TonyTea"
  5. i think we are all haunted by the ollie wines catastrophe i won't be surprised if we go clayton if so i'd love to know (after) when the decision was basically made
  6. to quote a notorious poster "i believe in jason taylor"
  7. and if they highlight it on their press release they run the risk of the press picking up on it too i agree the press like sinking the slipper, but in this case we set it up nicely for them by our press release
  8. agree and people would wear a cap on more occasions than just going to the footy giving the club (and sponsors) more exposure in public
  9. well bub, the mfc did highlight the extra $1.2m in the announcement on their own web site
  10. it is because it was based purely on the op's phantom draft where certain players weren't available at p7 (p10) waste of everyone's time iyam
  11. wouldn't surprise me if this was another essendon/media plot to get parish to essendrugs media love essendon and think we are not worth consideration
  12. highly speculative
  13. will be very interested to see where he eventually gets picked the possibilities cover a very wide range
  14. that's sad redleg i was rather hoping you would start a countdown for the 2016 draft after tuesday maybe we could have a CAS countup with today being +3?
  15. that's what i thought too then i realised that they probably lost half their financial records too
  16. well, i have to take taylor at his word when he said we will pick best available if we look at best available this draft for 3-10 (maybe higher) i think it is really hard there's not a lot between them and all have their weaknesses. in short i don't think anyone really stands out as best available this is quite evident by the vastly differing ratings of the pundits and how those ratings have shifted in a short time on a needs basis i'd like the best mid at 3 and the best tall forward at 7 who that is i've really no effn ideai, so i'll leave my trust in taylor et al i'd be ok with my initial gut feel of parish/weideman but won't be disappointed if they go someone else (of course i reserve the right to vent here in 2 years time if it all goes pear-shaped)
  17. i'm not seeing it. handy vfl player
  18. i've got nothing against mckay but the 6 players wj was presented with at the mfc draft function didn't include him and a min of 2 of the 6 will be available at p7 (p10)
  19. well yes, but that is another issue - lol
  20. according to the hun the cas hearing wrapped up at 7pm on friday now the long wait for a verdict
  21. i don't see your logic if you played one unregistered player you lose the points if you played with one extra player for one minute you lose the points one player, many players doesn't matter, the team that played was tainted
  22. like riley and tapscott. that worked out well don't be blinded by toughness. plenty of tough afl players who turn out quite average footballers
  23. you do realise that was all quotes from mick turner don't you? mick does this hyperbole every year for the falcon boys
