  1. lol, aren't we all?
  2. i think iva is alluding to some other person or persons who volunteered "evidence" (think vault)
  3. are you sure it is as black and white as that, chris i find it hard to believe that it isn't drummed into them that they have ultimate responsibility and they can seek the resources of asada. i would also expect that asada themselves provide at least some education either in person or in materials and that it is not just conducted 100% by the afl. anyway, in this case we know that doc reid disapproved of this program and wrote a letter to the club. it would seem he didn't share this letter or it's contents with the players and furthermore when his letter was ignored he didn't take it any further or partake in the program. so if the afl training told the players to check with the club doc and he was obviously bypassed, then the players should have heard the alarm bells ringing very loudly
  4. i wonder if it is being considered? suppose it might need a formal complaint, but a few stern words from the coppers wouldn't go astray. though these days fewer people would take any notice
  5. not disbelieving you, but how do you arrive at that conclusion when he's never been a senior coach? naturally i hope it is true
  6. i think wyl is struggling to feed his pigs and will accept donations from anyone
  7. it's certainly scary just in itself it would be right up there in the worst afl hairstyle stakes and there is certainly some doozies
  8. given a richmond official described it as a "hiccup", i feel richmond will likely find a wet tram ticket and a bucket of spin. of course if it was a lesser player they'd bring out the sledgehammer. with the afl as a role model of problem containment what can you expect
  9. wasn't the "AFL Football CEO" you refer to actually the " General Manager of Football Operations" (Adrian Anderson) Of course the "Acting CEO" (Gillom McLachlan) was the one who authorized Anderson's inquiry, but he didn't lose his job confused over titles
  10. reminds me of the ama......or the catholic church for that matter
  11. two ways to handle photos. 1. upload directly to demonland then "attach" them to a post. as you found out limited capacity per user. was always true 2. use image icon in a post and provide the url of a photo. if they are your photos then this is what i meant by upload them to something like photobucket, where you can then use the image icon and reference them via a url at photobucket i.e. no uploading to demonland required clear as mud now?
  12. all that really shows, doc, is that there is a lot of different studies, different results, different ways of graphing it and a lot of divergence i'm merely pointing out that there is/should be plenty of room for healthy skepticism. it's hardly a settled science and strong on hypothesis and blue-sky forecasting
  13. yeah, that's better than nothing but still not quite what i want funny thing , i just noticed the number is back. your post was # 130 and this one will presumably be # 132 thanks, i've now got 2 ways to reference a previous post (other than quote)
  14. ht, no one is asking you to " dismiss the whole global warming argument as a massive conspiracy" just not to dismiss out of hand any critical analysis of agw, and retain a healthy degree of skepticism once the capitalists take it fully on board our heads will be spinning from all the crap and vested interest, if it's not already happening now
  15. No jake lovett in list
  16. the racing industry seem to have better investigative powers........just saying
  17. yeah i noticed the thread sequence no, no longer shows i was trying to reference a previous post by number today but couldn't find it
  18. a guilty verdict based on balance of probabilities still won't answer those questions though bb at least not to me and i presume others, unless the dam subsequently breaks and some(one) spill the beans i'd like to see wada investigations and/or wada trials get better subpoena powers in the future but i'm not confident
  19. the thing that disturbs me most is that none of the principal instigators or executers of this program has made a sworn statement or being forced into a court to give evidence under oath and be available for cross examination it seems we will never know the full truth without something like a royal commission. even then it may not be enough all very concerning and unsatisfactory, at least from my viewpoint, and leaves too many questions hanging
  20. faulty, use something like photobucket. it's free and you get plenty of capacity you then just select image and give the photo's url on photobucket
  21. hardtack, you saw this graph posted a few posts back. does it show a close correlation between co2 levels and temperature? buggered if i can see it does it indicate a level of 400ppm of co2 is excessive or unusually high? doesn't it make you just a little skeptical that co2 is singled out as the big bad wolf and drives the climate models that make the predictions or do you just think the graph is bogus you seem to have a closed mind to what some eminently qualified climatologists are saying might is not always right
  22. sent back my colouring in effort........finger crossed, might win if stuie doesn't cheat enter
  23. ernest, sounds ok but...maybe just add a couple of meerkat gifs.........i really like meerkats
  24. technically it was pandora's jar. a far better description that avoids the smutty innuendos
  25. you could say they drank their own koolaid, bb
