why would you want sydney to rise? they are doing quite well. the normal draft has the equalisation measures that are available to all clubs if performing badly without the academy bonus the northern clubs have the same pool of players available to everyone i don't mind in principle gws and gcs getting assistance on a one-off basis (e.g. priority pick system) if it becomes necessary brisbane and sydney have won 5 premierships in the last 14 years (and been in 8 grand finals).......punching well above their weight
