  1. i'll toss in another anecdotal story for what it's worth neighbour's sister's daughter (who we have know well for years) just recently turned 21 and had her third jab (moderna). was rushed to hospital with heart problems, nearly lost a leg, had 2 heart operations and is now in an induced coma (1 week now), prognosis grim with only one side of heart working. fingers crossed. the only pre existing medical condition she had was lupus and the specialist doctors have said this wasn't the reason. i don't know what to think about it but i'll not get moderna for my next jab Correction: she didn't get covid, just the moderna booster, sorry for any confusion

  3. you might need more than these
  4. will foodisgrey be wearing their white away strip?
  5. put it to rest......please come back when you have some facts to talk about
  6. yeah, 4 qtr effort......and......kick goals, not points
  7. as swyl would say "certain things should never be forgotten"
  8. i think darling would struggle to complete a backflip successfully, so his position would be somewhat altered even if undesired
  9. if you go to the app now you will see all the tickets for this season, but without the barcode for the next game it will also show a countdown clock for when the barcode can be expected check it out
  10. all eligible members will be sent a barcode (reserved seat or not) to the mfc app 72 hours before each game if those members without a reserved seat want a seat then they need to additionally go to ticketek - using the procedure luci outlined above will be the same all year (n.b. if you have a reserved seat membership then you don't need to go ticketek, and if not then you only need to go to ticketek as a member if you want to purchase a reserved seat at a mfc members price (i.e. select the right option as luci indicated))
  11. certainly weird i've checked it now 3 times and it went 49,667 then 47,667 and then just now 49,667 again
  12. why don't we all take a deep breath and wait till some details are actually announced i have faith that roffey will get us a good deal
  13. like they don't alternate most other things.....yeah sure.....we'll get an extra away game every year
  14. then there will be an uneven match between home and away games
  15. oh, a fortnight then......such a change mightn't be helpful for someone with chest pains it was reported that he had seen a dr about his chest pains before he left and you'd like to think that he had discussed a liquid only diet with him no doubt a few more questions will be asked
  16. i think (hope) that they will fine tune it (back off) a bit, and the carlton game was an over-reaction just to make a point (the usual afl ham-fisted method)....but they won't come out publicly and say so
  17. think it's now just called the melbourne rule
  18. not sure he had already started his strict regime i don't think he had even been at the resort a full day he had reported chest pains in melbourne just before he left
  19. lets take another tack... suppose a player throws the ball, tackles someone high or some other infringement umpire doesn't pay a free player looks at umpire, raises arm in appeal, says "he threw the ball!", no malice or anger in delivery happens all the time directed at ump - tick dissenting an umpire decision (i.e. no free) - tick so, for consistency re dissent this would be a free kick against the dissenter?
  20. dissent maybe better but it could have just been simply querying, asking certainly not "abuse" (on what we can see)
  21. why is that "abuse"? gesticulating with arms is not abuse, facing the umpire is not abuse. we don't know what he said but i'd guess it was probably something about the carlton player ducking to draw a free. now if he swore at the umpire or said something offensive then that would be abuse, but you don't know what/if he said. let's not reinvent the word abuse or it just becomes ridiculous
