  1. bit rough on people born in the great continent of antarctica and don't laugh, 11 people have been born there
  2. how about richmond then?
  3. playing on at suns would only tarnish dusty's legacy. his best days are well past. he may be a good on field leader but is not an off field leader, so apart from publicity purposes i can't see much benefit
  4. maybe i've missed it, but i haven't seen much in the media about the obvious out of bounds with chol which resulted in a hawk's goal. if sicily kicked that goal and hawks won it would have been mega embarrassing for the afl and port would be furious and i'm not even mentioning those 2 sling tackle frees that gave them goals

fawkner park would be a terrific location. would tick all boxes. i believe it was looked at but got scrapped as not being obtainable. don't know the nitty gritty reasons though
  8. i think the problem with the northern academy and the father son draft concessions is that they are too generous. they actually get 3 distinct benefits not available to others. the overide priority (bid matching) the 25% points discount, the ability to aggregate low picks to reach the discounted point value a good argument can be made that the 25% points discount is excessive benefit, especially as they can also use a collection of draft points. I'd abolish the discount or at the very least reduce it.
  9. what's next? greeny has a lunch with jeff kennet for advice, duly reported by robbo. at this rate we won't need the planned reviews 😂
  10. so joe invites greeny to lunch, does all the talking, then rings up robbo to tell him what he told greeny greeny should be more careful who he has lunch with. first lesson for new pres.

it's also about the sell off of sandown, and this would impact the money available for caulfield development, which in turn could impact the areas we are interested in
