  1. thats a reasonable point I wonder how the average GF winning margin compares to the average H&A winning margin?
  2. The number of draws in GFs is in fact running at a higher rate than home and away games Consider there have been 3 in 113 years which is approx one in forty. This is equivalent to one every 5 rounds of the home and away which obviously is much much greater than the reality. In theory the odds should be about the same, so expect GF draws in the future to become even more uncommon. There again we might see more draws in home and away, or this is just a load of drivel - ah well.
  3. If we can't find a reasonable draft/deal could we try Warnock as a resting fwd/relief ruck as a last resort? Its a bit left-wing but would it be worth a try? Just throwing it out there (and ducking)
  4. With a bit of luck they can keep drawing until the NAB CUP, THEN, there will be a problem
  5. Apparently the MCC had outsourced their building services contract to India. They are currently reviewing this arrangement.
  6. So what if still tied up after extra time? I suggest a shootout between Goddard and Cloke
  7. I thought St.Kilda suffered badly for most of the game with poor delivery into the forward line Put it down to nerves or pressure but it cost them. All the more credit though to their fightback, they just worked harder than collingwood in the 2nd half Anyone know what Gardiners injury is?
  8. I know what you mean philosopher, my wife has been nagging me for months to get the damn will drawn up You've inspired me to exercise my democratic rights and do it Thanks Edit: or was that my humanitarion rights - to much excitement in one day
  9. probably more like $20+Mil
  10. be prepared for a wave of crime as Collingwood supporters try to raise the cash for a ticket
  11. Appparently they're tossing up between the high-jump and pole-vault
  12. Goddard BOG for mine What happens next week if they draw again? (apart from Vlad getting richer)
  13. or your red-headed step-sister if you're a filth supporter
  14. Told ya the Filth wouldn't win! B) Now a controversial one point win to the Aints next week will cap it off nicely
  15. pretty impressed with the singing of the club songs - a bit different but stirring I'd have to give it (narrowly) to the St.Kilda bird - she was terrific A good omen for the Aints ?
  16. \ now you have got me confused philosopher
  17. Heats: 11:40am Final: 3:40pm
  18. Oh dear, exposed! and such language, tsk tsk resting (on the bench)
  19. hahaha . . . very observant of you WYL but just between you and me, have a look at the numbers on the back . . sshhhh! (don't tell rpfc etc or they'll start up again LMAO)
  20. Ooops, sorry, I think I misread your post You weren't saying it was a clash strip You were saying they changed even their home jumper so they are used to it - gotcha Have a look at the awful change they made for 1915-22 (due to wwI - but it didnt bother them for wwII) - black/red/yellow
  21. Had a suspicion that the 1997 strip was actually their home strip Sure enough it was from 1997-2001 - check out Footy Jumpers
  22. good catch - but thats not their current clash strip. I think a lot of Saints fans prefer the 1997 version (too dark for Vlad though) 1997 GF 2010 clash http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJubdzEYDH0&feature=fvst
  23. or Graham?
  24. OK, guess I could have worded that better I should have said "no design will get rid of the white" Gets a bit semantic I know, but I think you now know what I was trying to say. Simply just that its the colour not the design ok, the end
  25. Yeah, agreed. Actually St.Kilda are really quite lucky with respect to clash strips. Their colours are already red/black/white so its not a colour (white) issue for them Their only issue is maybe design or tradition Our issue with clash strips is quite different
