  1. told em it wouldn't help
  2. Culture is indefinable. Its a way of behaving and thinking that differentiates a group from another group. You can only give many subjective and few objective examples of it. You could say "its just the vibe of it". Just thought I'd chuck that in, even though it doesn't help
  3. And while you are at it, get rid of all those efing interstate clubs and bringback the real VFL .......and get rid of the Fat Controller and ArchPrick Anderson too
  4. Right, and as you can't sack an old board that is good enough to sack the current board. But do it now. Don't wait till the end of the season. Anyone know what's Joe doing these days?
  5. Did anyone else notice that twice when Jurrah kicked goals no MFC players rushed to congratulate him. He had to approach a couple of players himself for a high five. I just thought at the time this looked odd and they weren't playing for each other. And this was when we were doing well. Maybe I was reading too much into it?
  6. Well thats not how the penalty system works. Impact plays a role in activation points. Yes, Dunn was lucky he didn't do more damage. Same as the drunk driver who doesn't have a crash and kill someone.
  7. And throw the bath out too with the water and baby. Yeah. BTW, wasn't it the previous board who hired Bailey?
  8. Agreed, it is a baseball term. But come up with a better term, as it does describe a certain situation well
  9. He didn't get more simply because Pratt didn't get badly hurt (which he could have been) Its not hard to understand. 325 activation points before discount is a serious penalty Posters want to punish him more because of his stupidity, his lack of form or improvement, rather than the incident
  10. \Lets keep politics (and religion etc) off the footy board. No good will come of it. At least on the footy board we all have one thing in common We do have a general board, but no-one seems too interested in it
  11. Well you broke the unwritten law of introducing politics unkindly so I felt you deserved some of your own medicine back. I just couldn't help myself I was also curious why Joe Hockey got singled out when there are much better porky peddlers to pick from
  12. I think it would be "Take off your blinkers"
  13. Your real name isn't Mark Latham is it "Rhino"
  14. gotta agree. Matthews's (like Blight's) time has passed
  15. I think self preservation comes first (if justifiable)
  16. There have been many 23 year old veterans in the history of VFL/AFL including a few captains Many 23 year olds are playing their 6 year of AFL football, so for some, 23 years is not that young But back to Nathan, yeah accepts responsibility and works his butt off. We'd all give our left one (and right one) to play 100 AFL games.
  17. Thanks WJ, good job Were those your best players or the official list?
  18. "I Believe" I believe for every drop of rain that falls A flower grows, I believe that somewhere in the darkest night A candle glows, I believe for everyone who goes astray, Someone will come to show the way, I believe, I believe. I believe above the storm a smallest prayer Will still be heard, I believe that someone in the great somewhere Hears every word, Every time I hear a newborn baby cry, Or touch a leaf, or see the sky, Then I know why, I believe. Every time I hear a newborn baby cry, Or touch a leaf, or see the sky, Then I know why, I believe.
  19. LMFAO, very funny rpfc
  20. You can expect there will be a 10 metre exclusion zone around Dangermouse for the rest of the season
  21. Here it is...... culture hanging from the rafters................ Australia's cultural Attache
  22. Here is the vision Dunny report
  23. strongly put but spot on
  24. I looked up all Papal Encyclicals since 1950 (google is my friend) and nowhere could I find that the shoulder is sacrosanct. For that matter couldn't find any reference to sacrosanct heads either but then I remembered that was a Fuehrer Vlad/ArchPrick Anderson encyclical and for reasons unknown hasn't been endorsed by the Holy See yet. Won't be long before Head, shoulders, arms and backs are sacrosanct leaving a 10cm strip on the front of the body above the waist free for tackling contact, as long as the player tackling exercises due care with respect to injuries to the sacrosact areas as a result of the outcome of the tackle bearing in mind all possible permutations, and, where there is no other option but to tackle (e.g. tickling, trash-talking, etc)
