  1. Good post. Balanced and reasonable What about the ruck/2nd ruck situation? Do you see any changes?
  2. You're problem here is one of timing "Agree he played ok in patches but is he the answer = no" Different issues. Wait till your prophecy comes true for next post, but why not just give him some slack for a good effort, for one week I'm not a Juice fan but I'm not a torturer either
  3. Well I look forward to the imminent miracle and celebrating our improvement from 2010 at end of season
  4. You probably know I don't have much time for Juice, but your comments are way way to harsh. He played his best game on Sat, played the role asked of him and put in all day. His first quarter was great then he was sacrificed for the good of the team, tried to do a job he was destined to fail at, and then had to "rest" deep in the fwd line after being stuffed, with the ball not making many more fwd entries, and limiting his chances, ..........and you bag him. If you are looking for retributive blood there were many other easier targets
  5. I'd like to see some new blood wouldn't mind Howe, Evans or Nicholson.....maybe even Gawn but probably a bit early
  6. Doesn't hang around in the rafters, mate. You must be thinking of Junction oval
  7. So Artie, do you "see" a premiership in 2014 under Bailey? ....or a you just running up the flag to keep the natives quiet.
  8. Is leadership limited to 'senior' players? Wouldn't you include coaching staff in the "leadership" group? Its definitely broken and I for one don't want to start another 7-year grand plan, comrade.
  9. Come, come Peter, we all know who/what he was talking about. To claim otherwise would only increase the farce I'd like to know why the Saints player who essentially said the same thing as Frawley wasn't even asked to explain. There is definitely double standards here.
  10. How can there be obligations and accountabilities for something that is not defined ? If the AFL is the players employer then all citizens are employees of the Government. You would argue anything for the sake of it Rhino
  11. Nor do we have a denial to free speech enshrined anywhere in our laws
  12. seems that opposition players were just exercising a "duty of care" to Dangermouse whilst he recovers
  13. I think you are morphing into Don Quixote now rpfc I think there is plenty of blame for all participants to share. Don't you agree, if you think about it? But you can't get rid of half the team, bottom out again and start another 7-year plan can you? Or is that what you want? Easier to cast off the teacher, but only if you can snare a saviour. Food for thought
  14. Howe has debatably done as well as Blease this year plus he has a season of senior football for Hobart in the TFL
  15. Maths please! 3.5 + 4 = 7.5
  16. I can appreciate skilled players from ManU or any team for that matter for what they are and what they do. But the fact they play for ManU or that ManU win some more silverware does nothing for me. If I watch Premier league it is to watch the elite players or to see an underdog team put up a good performance Like watching a rich person with a Maserati outrace a poor person driving a Proton. Thats not competition.
  17. Please, if quoting get it right. "If it is to be it is up to me" 10 2-letter words
  18. So ManU win another Cup. Does anyone else find this just mind boggling boring. To think that the richest football club in the world playing in the most un-even competition in the world have just won another cup. This is not a dig a soccer just that I turned on the TV and here were all these manchester fans (all born in manchester - not) going off their brains with excitement and adoration for something was virtually assured at the start of every premier league season. Fair dinkum I don't know why the even bother with the season. Just have a 4 week round robin with the 4 richest clubs. As for ManU supporters, talk about downhill skiers, they probably support Ferrari and the Filth too. The culture of the (rich) winners. There, that made me feel better
  19. Thanks for the great summary Red and Blue Bloke. Much appreciated. P.S. would have been better without the last para
  20. whatever it was it was probably something too "perfectly" executed
  21. but you must say it 3 times a noon whilst facing the MCG !
  22. and there is such a thing as sharking off the opposition rucks. Its not rocket science, rucks aren't that precise surely they can play horses for courses. they could do it the first quarter then they got "comfortable" and fell into a coma as i mentioned in another thread a huge lack of footy brains today (among other things too)
  23. You obviously don't understand our game plan Ralph. They were all following instructions and zoning off (and zoning off, and z......) Actually they were all playing as though they don't have a football brain between them and this has been a problem (fooball brains) at the MFC for years. As well as being downhill skiers. No discipline whatsoever Maybe the recruiting department could develop a footballing-IQ test for all future potential draftees Aw whats the use, lets bottom out and start again... at least then losing will have some meaning
  24. Monica says hi. She does get around....but only with the best Keep voting y'all
