  1. Lets see....we could have lots and lots of button.... Like.... [NFI] [Flamer] [Fencesitter] [Wacko] [Apologist] [TorchBearer} [TopPost] [POTD] [POTW] [POTY]......etc etc
  2. that's ok, just thought it funny in context
  3. well, not until you learn to spell.........
  4. they can't sign an AFL contract till October anyway his comments mean nothing
  5. By depriving JT of income through suspensions and fines they are encouraging him to focus more on the all important dollar so when he comes out of contract next year he'll consider signing up with the AFL's love child GWS. Very logical actually......
  6. I always thought Jnr's retirement was a 50/50 decision The "good" side for Jnr was that he went out on top, unlike many others who go a year too many and somewhat tarnish their reputation. BTW I don't think such decisions (to retire/delist) should be left upto individuals. There is far too much money at stake. A player could be satisfied sitting out a year injured or playing in the magoos for $500k, esp if he doesn't have another career to fall back on. It would be impossible for a player (captain or not) to be totally objective about his form and ignore the money. And yes, the club could have managed it better....but then they admit that.

No, he's not "more than adequate" he is just adequate as a 2nd ruck. Lets not get carried away yet. Let Jamar do what he is best at.
  8. i think you are right on this egd - matchups, matchups
  9. After all that work with your crystal ball you're going to sit on the fence! sheeeez! Grow some and predict, nostradamus.
  10. Lets be realistic there are not many players in the league who can beat Cloke especially if he is in form. Having said that Rivers should have been switched much earlier - bad match up
  11. interesting though how one poster 'disappears' and miraculously a new one rises like a phoenix
  12. links dont work for me get a menu of clips not including the above
  13. Can you (or anyone) knock up a sample image? Worth looking at/discussing
  14. Well he's a better mark than Bate or Dunn and he is a big body which the forward line lacked He probably wouldn't make it as a forward but I did think there was a time when it might have been worth the experiment You never know if you never try Anyway, its too late now so it will remain hypothetical
  15. If so, you'd be best then to change your nickname :)
  16. I know, but its as addictive as ciggies
  17. Of course that was the point If you were wanting the max money from GWS you wouldn't leave it to the eoy without talking to them beforehand Scully says he hasn't talked to anyone at GWS If you believe him then this makes it less likely he'll go to gws On the other hand, he only needs to 'talk' to his manager to effectively 'deal' with GWS P.S. I don't have a clue which way he is thinking
  18. Yeah, he certainly knew where the ball was and also tackled well That effort bound to get him a recall I'd like to see him work harder on his disposal at training though
  19. True, but there were a lot of other "experimental" moves that day too Oh, and we WERE tanking btw
  20. Isn't it possible that if one didn't look at ANY offers until end of 2011 that GWS may have signed their marquee players elsewhere and the treasure chest is somewhat depleted, so the really BIG money is gone? Seems to me leaving it late may be just that - too late Just some thoughts
  21. I suggested this last year as an experiment. Got howled down. Club doesn't seem interested either otherwise they could have experimented at Casey. Problem at Casey is they have no shortages of forwards this year. Ah well. Probably too late now.
  22. Whew! Glad you didn't watch with someone elses, would be painful swapping them in
