  1. You don't have to buy a membership....its gratis Put his name in and get a free jumper I got my grandson in, just in time before he turns 2. Jumpers sent out within 3 weeks, great deal
  2. Sign up for baby demon jumper P.S. baby can be in "cooking" stage or upto 2 yo max
  3. starting to look like cameron bruce all over again................... we get nothing and a bad taste in the mouth doesn't look good when your captain holds out this long and late
  4. I love trade week When all is said and done, there will be more said than done Why they extended it for two days totally escapes me\ Still it is great for those posters anxious to boost their post counts Bring back zones and form fours I say
  5. Did the club originally have a flag .....as an emblem? Do we have a flag now but not used much? The only 'flag' I've seen are those little ones on a stick you buy to wave at a game (with the logo on it). I've never really got the connection with a flag and an emblem. And I don't think the flag is a reference to the old premiership pennants (flags)....or is it?
  6. Lovett has made it clear that he is only interested in part time coaching Hence he said he would not (re)apply for the Sandy job which now must be a full-time position (as dictatated by StKFC)
  7. I like em both. Lets just alternate them, one for home games, one for away games? btw I'm tone deaf too
  8. Kate Moss?
  9. why bother mono, surely Neeld has enough on his plate with about 20 other underachievers his time is up
  10. so he's part of the dangerfield deal? i'll go for that.
  11. You're extracting the urine, right? I can cop the rest
  12. Not true. Have to offer your next pick after whatever another club offered (which could be in the next round)
  13. I think in an ideal world it would be best if players (at least most) were drafted at an older age However, one problem is that at the moment most players are drafted in year 12 at school. If you wait another year (or two) then many talented players will have started a career or tertiary education and you run the risk that they may be lost to football as football is a full time professional job and you can't do both (at least not easily) The Americans have their College system where they can study and play in a top class nursery competition with top coaches. Can't see we could afford this type of system. Just some thoughts....
  14. Well its either that or length of term or amount of money or issues re captaincy or ???? seems strange that nothing has leaked out.....or has it.....hence my question
  15. any idea (other than speculation) on what the issues may be?
  16. to plateau is to reach a stable level a 31 goal loss is a precipitous decline
  17. I'd hardly call a 31 goal loss as plateauing......but I think I know what you meant
  18. I agree Sheedy would have probably been worse for our club given where we were at the time Its interesting reading old threads but Sheedy seemed to be the preferred choice on demonland and demonolgy at the time! A bullet dodged I think. but that's just hypothetical and in the end Bailey's abilities are in the eye of the beholder
  19. now you are changing the context. We were not discussing his role as an assistant coach. Totally different kettle of fish anyway, I sincerely wish him all the best in Adelaide as an assistant coach
  20. Face it WYL, you feel sorry for Bails so you are making excuses and flimsy claims because he was a nice guy who got a dirty job but in the end was very average. Where is all your tough bruise-free talk now? He was just a journey-man coach taking us no-where
  21. whats that got to do with "but as a teacher of Raw kids, Bails did a fine job"?.
  22. I hear this comment often but I can't see any proof of it Any coach (or no coach) would have seen some development out of the list, esp as so many were top 20 I was unimpressed when Bailey got the job and I was unimpressed when he left the job He might be a nice bloke etc but he was nothing but ordinary as a coach. No need to gild a lily
  23. don't sweat it, organisation charts reflecting reporting lines and functional reponsibilities are often difficult to portray I think Neeld is the type to insist on what he wants and won't take shyte from anyone
  24. Is Mister Rude still around?
