    Good rule change. Reduces flooding, increases one on one contested play, brings back the pack mark. If a player can't run out 100mins of football once a week with 3 breaks and some interchange time then the games moved away from where it needs to be,

    How to convince someone a player isn't a dud? Show them in games against 2 of the competitions battlers. Can you tell me what he does against Brisbane worthy of a highlights reel. All I saw was several head high cheap shots resulting in Brisbane free kicks, some poor play by Brisbane coughing it up to him, 3 poor kicks forward resulting in turnovers. I couldn't be bothered watching the port lowlights. Really chief is that your best shot?

    Here's a FACT for you - he's in Carlton's best 22 because their bottom 6 is weak. The main reason they won't win the flag with Judd at the helm. If Carlton had a handful of better players Robinson would be running around for the Bullants, doing what he does best which is king hitting unaware players. DUD with all capitals. Time to reload cowboy and have another shot, or is it just blanks you hold?

    it's generally expected that when people who laugh at others are pulled up for it they will start abusing those pulling them up. It's part of an insecure beings make up. The school bully is the perfect example. He bags others, gets pulled into line by the teacher and then starts abusing the teacher, behind the teachers back of course. Courage is not a strong point of such people. You fit the mould perfectly, most people are more complex, you are very simple

    My guess is essendon have done 3 things, only 2 so far 1. watch the media hype up the Hurley contract 2. had a third party leak to Schwarz. 3. Will sign their man amongst much fanfare and pronounce the strength and greatness blah blah blah of Essendon. Clever media work by them.

    Not you as well. Mitch Robinson is a Dud, Jack Watts is a young man learning the craft and growing in size. Sit back and enjoy the ride. Or of course get the "Big Hits" video and watch Mitch run around. Oh wait, his best hits are behind the play and unlikely to be on film. He's as weak and gutless as I've seen from a supposed hit man. Grow up or go to the boxing, Oh wait they stand face to face, not Mitch's modus operandi, just ask Rohan Bail.

    Can you explain to me why the interchange is king? If it were upto me I'd have 2 interchange and 2 subs. The players are fit enough and I watched more cracking games of football last year than I have for a while

    You're the guy who laughs at others out loud whilst everyone laughs at you amongst themselves. I didn't realise how one spoke in front of camera was a measure of their intelligence. With some of the dribble you go on with on this site I'm surprised you laugh at others so easily

    I'm not infatuated. i just watched a guy lie to an entire competition whilst standing alongside his team mates and Jim Stynes. I will read posts about him, occassionally write stuff and boo louder than I have ever before everytime he goes near the ball when he's playing at the Home Of Football. I could look forward to seeing his knee crumble and his career cut short but what I'd enjoy most would be looking at his face when the Jacks hold up the Cup for the 3rd time whilst he languishes in Shitsville in his plastic house with his plastic crap.

    In the past we had a captain, a vice captain and a deputy vice captain. Clubs then usually had several others who led on or off the field or both. These days thanks to everything corporate we call them leadership groups. get your hand off it folks they are nothing new. When players such as Yze are assigned to these groups you realise how pointless they are. He couldn't lead a school group to 7 Eleven.

    The reason we keep harping on about scully is we know how good he is going to be and what he would have meant to this club. We are not going to pick up another one with 2 compo picks. We lost. He lost. Footy lost. It was a lose lose lose.

    Watts is 20 years old, has done 1 complete preseason and people criticise him for not having a mindless attack on the ball. I'll guarantee that when his body develops and his understanding of the game grows he'll attack the football in a way that will make you proud to be a Demon. For now let him fill out and learn his place on the field. Or would you prefer he ran around like Mitch Robinson?

    The leadership group will likely remain but it has to be one of the biggest wanks in football. Didn't Yze make ours a few years back...enough said.

    Why would anyone overate Petterd? He's proven injury prone, courageous to the point of stupidity and has played a handful of games worth rating...please go and do your homework.

    Why would Neeld give more responsibility to a guy who he has left out of the leadership group, suspended from Round ! and who has spent most of the preseason in rehab. Not to mention a player who has failed to put together anything like a complete season in 9 starts. Col won't start in the centre at every bounce because that's not where he hurts the opposition. If Moloney is our best player we are doomed before we begin.
