  1. Tyson, Fitzpatrick and Hogan.
  2. 1. Dank is obviously a central figure in the investigation and I would suggest target number 1. 2. An interview of Dank is likely to yield little or nothing regardless of what coercive powers that ASADA may contain. A Dank interview will probably end up being little more than a formality. 3. The interview is very often the last thing done before process is served/charges laid etc. I would expect the same in this instance. 4. Just because you can't hear, see or read about exactly what the investigators are up to doesn't mean the wheels aren't turning.
  3. If your investigation hinges on an interview that you have not yet conducted then you are in trouble. I am not sure what techniques are being used or the powers that ASADA are able to draw on but it is indeed very common to leave the interview till the very last moment, especially in a complex investigation.
  4. Woohoo! I am partial to the odd one liner here and there but the site is being hijacked by just a few narcissistic boofheads.
  5. Go to my profile. Manage ignore prefs
  6. Bizarre statementIf it involves me going home to be with my family in one piece then it is reasonable ... depending on circumstances. Self defence is a defence for homicide ... depending on circumstances.
  7. As for reasonable force, 2 punches to quell an imminent threat may well be considered reasonable depending on the circumstances. I don't think any of us are in a position to judge, but clearly Brown has accepted responsibility.
  8. There must be more to it and the Herald Sun may be reporting it poorly. But if it was proved that May shaped up and Brown had the belief that he was about to be struck, no court would convict him.
  9. I know this won't be a popular view but if someone shaped up to me and I felt that he was about to hit me I wouldn't be waiting for him it to happen. Particularly if he was bigger. Brown is a thug, but if the circumstances reported are correct he would be stiff to be sacked.
  10. That's the part I have trouble with. He is at best a third short tall at 188cm.
  11. Firstly I am absolutely guessing. Secondly I would think Essendon might have some face to gain by trying to portray that the AFL has governance issues of it's own. There is definitely some bitterness at Windy Hill toward the AFL and Demetriou. That may be enough motivation on it's own. Maybe they think that if they are going down they are taking Andy and co with them. I could well be wrong, but as you say there is a reason and target for the "leak".
  12. With you. Scratching my head about this one too. Probably end up winning the B & F.
  13. This one. To embarrass the commission and deflect some culpability. I wonder if there is word that ASADA is making moves.
  14. As I calm my fighting children during dinner I ponder my existence. Mediating, masticating and meditating.
  15. Pretty sure it is "win the clearance"
  16. We used to go on footy camps to Sorrento as a junior. We used to sneak out at night and line up along the road and flash moonies. I wonder if we were the inspiration for Tina's song.
  17. So I think I got it. Carroll was arrested by the Khmer Rouge and the CIA is planning an extraction?
  18. Might have been a furphy from Yeater.
  19. Others have alluded to the fact that there are players on our list outside the midfield that are difficult to rate. Terlich is one. As others have stated he is a decent footballer that needs to find a balance in his game. His first job is as a defender and when you find your opposition creating scores and scoring opportunities consistently through your opponent it can undo a lot of good work. He is naturally an attacking half back flanker, is he damaging enough to match him up to the weaker of the half forwards and expect him to hurt the opposition?
  20. Ignoring the issues and not answering the question. You can't hold a discussion like that. I'm done. I won't engage you further.
  21. This quote of yours is it in a nutshell.
  22. You are deliberately ignoring arguments and information. And using poor disposers like McKenzie and Magner in order to try and prove a backward hypothesis. So I am frustrated and disappointed. I thought that you would be more objective. Evidence and logic are the basis of my argument. There is not an educated person in the football world who would not agree that an efficient contested possession is of more value than an efficient uncontested posession.
