  1. I think JKH is a midfielder and potentially a good one. Sometimes bites off a bit too much at the moment but he will learn. Salem showed some poise skill and hardness. Loved Pedersen's game. Our bottom 6 have cost us again.
  2. Pedersen has been excellent. Roos fingerprints all over the Dees now.
  3. Moloney was not a great loss, Rivers was and we always ran the risk that a fit Petterd would kick on at another club. Moloney siimply is not good or consistent enough to get away with playing the game that he does.
  4. While I wouldn't criticise the recent handling of Trengove and Hogan there is enough information for the club to conduct a further investigation. I would expect the club to make any judgements based on info from independent experts. Let's see what we can learn from these things rather than hang people out to dry.
  5. Dependent on the angle of the corners and the direction that you take.
  6. I know we differ on this but he is a lovely kick and mover, until put under a bit of heat.
  7. Fairly obvious but I will humour you. Because he participated in a full pre-season and performed well during that pre-season. Salem is a fair way behind in terms of fitness and AFL exposure. JKH played practice matches, NAB cup and I believe completed every session. It's a mischievous question designed to conjure up questions about Roos decision' making and sense of justice. This is what we expect from you.
  8. So how are minimum standards enforced?
  9. You seriously believe that Roos will tolerate half efforts. We shall see, lets hope Watts responds...again.
  10. I like your work mate and you make a lot of sense but you are very hard to read.
  11. Forget Jack Watts' history, his name, his jumper the colour of his hair and the number that his name was called and evaluate his performance yesterday.
  12. I like the bloke but I sense that his AFL career is coming to an end.
  13. Like your stuff normally MB but....
  14. I think the poor players in our side cost us today, and yes Watts was one of four of five who contributed very little. The difference is with the other blokes there isn't the same perceived lack of effort. I can forgive Jordie Mckenzie who makes the most of what he has, when it clearly isn't enough.
  15. Clisby McDonald Dunn Georgiou Garland Grimes Viney Tyson Vince Salem Frawley Bail JKH Dawes Howe Rucks: Jamar Jones Cross INT: from Jones Strauss Toumpas Pedersen Evans Kent emerg: Watts Terlich Jetta There is sufficient versatility in the back half with Dunn, Garland and Clisby all able to play different roles, and if the opposition has a gorilla forward that causes trouble then Frawley goes back and Garland or Dunn forward. I
  16. I would say that there will be four or five changes from our current squad that will take shape over the next 2-4 weeks with Jamar, Garland, probably Clisby, Strauss and possibly Salem to be worked into the side. I think Roos will want to keep looking at the personnel and develop thier roles.
  17. Ron, that was an horrendous effort from Watts today, and sadly we have all seen it before. Why should he be exempt from criticism when it is so clearly warranted. If he survives this week he wouldn't want to put in another display like that. His teammates deserve better and we as members deserve better. It shouldn't be tolerated and I am sure it won't be. On the up side our bottom four were very poor today and should be replaced in the next few weeks. This should make us a considerably better team. Sadly Jordie McKenzie is not going to make the grade, he just does not have any physical weapons.
  18. Today we had a number of non- contributors. In a sense this is a positive as we have replacements arriving. We should improve markedly over the coming weeks.
  19. Georgio stays, just gets a more suitable opponent.
  20. Imagine if we only played the hard, highly skilled, quick and agile players on our list. How much better would we be?
  21. I find stupidity repulsive.
  22. I think that he will do ok if he gets a run. I think that he has been stiff, has got himself injured when starting to build, and has been played out of position. To me his best spot is as a midfielder. Not quick enough to be a defender.
