  1. paying. down debt is good even at low interest rates. Simply if we have no debt all revenue becomes ours. We can then redirect some of our revenue to build assets for the long term in whatever form is best for the club. But its good to see we are in a positive position.
  2. Yes that could also be a reason. But a club with good support could manage that. Plus he'd be away from his buddies!
  3. For a cheap price I'd have him back.. It seems he had far better support and network while at Melbourne and he played better (less injury). Lots of players struggle when they go to Freo and I think there is something wrong with their internal culture and it seems to not help players.
  4. Supercoach is shocking this year. How bloody hard is it to find the leagues your in... Not that fantasy team interface is any better. Problem with lots of interfaces is they start of great but "features" get added to. "improve' our experience. Simple is best. Nice clean designs.
  5. depends where it is played, some may be lucky.
  6. You can only play the opposition that is in front of you and we played them well. Now we need consistency for the rest of the year to that standard against all sides. We played great controlling footy on our terms for most of the match and the results showed. Preuss was so much better than the last time I saw him play, he's been studying the game and learning. He's not third in line, but 2nd behind max and tonight showed us that. Jackson is years away from being a no 1 ruck if ever.
  7. His intent and desire is there you can't question that, did some good things. But his body need to be reconditioned. Needs a good preseason to get it right again. Will fill in as best he can based on injuries.
  8. His comments are based on our history and how we need to change to become consistent. No problem with what he says as he wants us to succeed so he is harder on us than others, yes he thinks like a supporter and shows his frustration.
  9. GWS have not developed as a team, too many talented players trying to do their own thing to win.
  10. They have a tough run home.
  11. Hmm you have too much time on your hands
  12. yeah i counted them on the reply, again a case of umpires not knowing how to judge a distance.
  13. Some really good signs in the game. Including control the tempo of the ball movement, looks so much better, albeit against a weak side. What is good to see is pushing on a beating sides by big margins and not letting them back in. In the past we would have let in late goals. Not so anymore.
  14. Need to add missed set shots to that figure.
  15. Good precise movement. Put it through now...
  16. Gee, where out by inches of perfect movemetn
  17. The delivery into 50 is often bullet like which is hard to mark on the move. But they looking and not bombing, so as long as our crumbles contest we'll tick over goals. Umpiring is a bit meh, and yes carlton is right to complain with those decisions of holding the ball as it changed the whole momentum of their game.
  18. Good signs. Great work by the weed, just him to get a good kicking routine for all angles (there were both to the left).
  19. They are good at that, but it is a trait of a quality team.
  20. happy listening to Daisy on the coverage. Love to see the blues get up. Getting sick of the niknat fawning at the moment by commentators.
  21. One would be thinking he is getting his info from someone in the AFLHQ, not the Dee's. The question is how are the proceeds from the sale being represented in our accounts. The reality is we don't really know how clubs are managing their real finances as opposed to what you see on the books.
