  1. Hmm you have too much time on your hands
  2. yeah i counted them on the reply, again a case of umpires not knowing how to judge a distance.
  3. Some really good signs in the game. Including control the tempo of the ball movement, looks so much better, albeit against a weak side. What is good to see is pushing on a beating sides by big margins and not letting them back in. In the past we would have let in late goals. Not so anymore.
  4. Need to add missed set shots to that figure.
  5. Good precise movement. Put it through now...
  6. Gee, where out by inches of perfect movemetn
  7. The delivery into 50 is often bullet like which is hard to mark on the move. But they looking and not bombing, so as long as our crumbles contest we'll tick over goals. Umpiring is a bit meh, and yes carlton is right to complain with those decisions of holding the ball as it changed the whole momentum of their game.
  8. Good signs. Great work by the weed, just him to get a good kicking routine for all angles (there were both to the left).
  9. They are good at that, but it is a trait of a quality team.
  10. happy listening to Daisy on the coverage. Love to see the blues get up. Getting sick of the niknat fawning at the moment by commentators.
  11. One would be thinking he is getting his info from someone in the AFLHQ, not the Dee's. The question is how are the proceeds from the sale being represented in our accounts. The reality is we don't really know how clubs are managing their real finances as opposed to what you see on the books.
  12. Just watching the On the Coach from last night and they were discussing us and Goodwin's future and cost to the club. They discussed the finances of such a decision, here is what they said: 4th best balance sheet in the comp If we raise only $400k more this year, we'll be one of 4 unassisted clubs in the comp! Noted out recent $11m sale Interesting info that was unexpected.
  13. How do the doggies get away with so many blatant throws instead of handballs. 4 day break is no excuse, its all in the head of our team.
  14. Normally that happens under perceived pressure and go for the safe option of the punch. it is also a symptom of a lack of talk from the players around him that he had no pressure and time to mark.
  15. Focus on winning to develop that culture. But also play players to their strengths on the field not to fill holes created by other weaknesses. By moving a player from their dominant position we unbalance the team, impede their development and create doubt and reduce confidence. Some argue its good for their development but often it has the opposite effect in the long term. If there is a hole, bring in a player (new) and develop them to do that role. Also work out what players we can keep and what need to be moved on.
  16. From what I saw on TV, Langdon was trying to work hard..unlike many others.
  17. Well else you say but that was [censored]!!
  18. Can see it all moving to Perth, unless Palmer win's his court case
  19. Spot on, he didn't need to honour that lead. And that lead would have created a hole in the fwd space.
  20. He often stands on the wrong spots from what I can see from TV. Brizzie much smarter when crumbling tonight around contest/packs. He should go back and watch the tape (Actually all the mid's should). He needs a highly skilled mentor but he has the goods.
  21. What else can you say but, kick straight win games..
