  1. Yeah can, its lack of concentration and purpose... he's trying to do a dinky kick like he might do at training for fun. Kick with purpose.
  2. naturally we'll pick the best team from fit players. Sounds like a obvious question from a reporter. What I am happy about is the AFL not to allow additional bench players. Squads with older players and already more injuries will fit it tougher, I think our main list is pretty good shape going into the marathon.
  3. The more important question who is more damaging with the footy, got a feeling at the moment Trac would be higher up that list on that criteria...
  4. Why'd you post that!! jinks us...
  5. We looked switched on...
  6. That was a cracking port/blues game. Port lucky not to lose it in those last 3 points from dead in front, gray saved them.
  7. Roos v tigs, horrible game to watch any part of it. North game plan doesn't work, worse than ours. Bet they're happy they went with a rookie coach. As it wasn't like Tigers were on fire with their game either which makes it worth.
  8. Ha ha , they played on from a free 30 out directly in front
  9. I think he is their development squad (Or whatever it is called), doesn't stop us bidding on him.
  10. Yep the AFL is int he processing of moving https://www.news.com.au/sport/afl/afl-moving-more-teams-to-queensland-amid-coronavirus-fears/news-story/7bfe4569f2436241e649f53405fc49c7 Love of r the dee's to come to WA for their base, that way I can go see them love every week for the first time in a long time. Though I expect we'll being Queensland with the majority of teams.

There just ins't enough time in games to do that sort of damage anymore!

    Good last week as well
  13. Kayo runs well for me, with the odd bandwidth issue that corrects itself very quickly. The price has gone back to the $25 per month as of this month.
  14. I do see you point. The I have and other supporters, is what is really going on behind closed doors? his presser spoke about the right personal... but how will that reflect in selection next week?
  15. Yes, the coach isn't going anywhere in the short term. The club believes in the plan he's put before them. I hear goody talk about culture and a Melbourne way of playing. If you listen to top coaches around the world that is the right language. The successful teams have their way of playing reinforced by a culture and standards, they execute it well and it becomes sustainable, i.e. Swans, Hawks etc. It is not being executed, his lieutenants in this are his assistants. When he took over he chose who he wanted to be on his team. Listening to other coaches you want to pick assistants that you trust and support you. I imagine Hardwick was the same. They got rid of his and got the bets they could, look what happened (He also changed his coaching style). Get rid of those, there is obvious a disconnect from what goody wants and what they are teaching and in preparation to what we see on the field. goody has chosen and get in those that can execute. If it doesn't work, then his contract is up and he's gone. P.S. go recruit someone like Balme to run the footy dept. You need a footy manager who has coached at the senior level.
  16. wow what a collection of cluster****s!! At times the intensity was there. But gee, those lack of intent to properly execute the basic skills of footy. That shows a lack of real focus in the minds of the players irrespective of talent. The club has the talent to compete, we have enough good players to make the 8. But we have a broken culture and leadership off and on the field combined with a lack of focus on skills. The question is why and why hasn't it been fixed. If I was Goody, it would be back to basic, hitting targets under pressure, learning where to place the ball for advantage (we rarely do that). Teaching forwards to read the bloody ball as our midfield do a fast break (I could only see what was on tv, but how can the opposition continually be alone marking in our 50 from a centre bounce clearance) if they aren't kicking to where you want, run to where they are kicking it, and work out a better defensive system as there are always so many free players running around for oppo to move the ball to a better position and taught to keep running hard and not jog to the next content and then try to accelerate for the few metres when they realise the ball was still there and gettable. At times today we played great footy, intense with pressure but then there is that shocking howler of a skill or stupid decision. (Few been named already). I saw many great individual efforts from different players. But they can't seem to realise they need to maintain it for the entire match. Even with extra time we would not have won with our errors. As they kill our momentum. Melksem, smith should go. Pickett needs to find his touch in the 2nd's or be taught to play in more space at times to get the release handball as he builds his confidence. End of the year, we need a purge of assistants, bring in some class to guide goody. The talent is there but its not been trained to succeed.
  17. We looked like a team with less competitive match practice, took awhile to settled to the pace and awareness for some players, confusion (being caught) is because the players doe not know where to go automatically, no clear system or style of movement. We'll be better for the run, patches of good footy but large patches of letting the other team move without pressure.
  18. Thanks, I'll need to check my email. I rarely do as being in WA most are not relevant.
  19. How are the zoom meetings organised for the members?
  20. Don't know of that one...
  21. It wasn't a nickname at the club, it was an incident by G.Lyons during an Eagles game when he abused Chris Lewis who pointed out Charles to him, which Lyon said something along the lines "he understands". Lyon apologised publicly and acknowledge how wrong it was expressed the same in his book at the time. It was around the time of the stand by Kraker and the start of the changing culture of the AFL.
