His name hasn't been mentioned with us, but if Gold Coast are really as keen as reported on Seb Tape, I can't see us passing up on such a talent.

Incorrect. He played forward and in-fact kicked 11 goals in his first two TAC cup games this season. It wasn't til the National Championships with Vic Country he played in the backline. He played through the midfield for Geelong Grammar.
Just to emphasis this - The AFL has changed so much. 5 years ago, the club would have persisted with the slow, short Cheney. The game is just to fast these days for passengers. Bell included.
