Miller and Whelan proved they aren't VFL players. Bartram hasn't let getting dropped affect him, played with heart. Watts looked good, showing his evasiveness and class. McKenzie is like a young Kirk, tough around the stoppages and a real competitor - I am impressed. Valenti is unlucky not be playing AFL, as is PJ who competed well in ruck duels.

Miller was good. Needs a re-call should he be playing for career.

Your on the money here HT. Personally, I'd rather give Bennell the experience than play Bell.

Including Bennell & Cheney is not going to have a major effect on weather we win or lose this game. Both have shown steady form in the seniors so this is a decision I simply dont understand.

I'm a fan. McNamara is just older than the latest crop of recruits, so essentially he's a first year player. Needs to hit some consistent form with Casey and stay injury free to make the grade. Could be cut at the end of this season if he fails to do so.

Wouldn't be too worried. Cale is still young, learning and developing. His form will drop from time to time and I'm happy that the selection commitee are showing faith in him. Being pushed out to Casey could have as much a negative effect as it could positive.

How did BT react? His hatred for the MFC is sad and quite disgraceful really. Good on DP but I'm sure his allegiance now lies with Hawthorn.
