JVR Extends to 2025
Longer contract at worst gives us better leverage at the trade table if he wants out in 12 months

Welcome to Demonland Kyah Farris-White
Thanks I think the ratio of cat B rookies that actually end up making the grade would be very low

Welcome to Demonland Kyah Farris-White
Have any cat B players actually made it in the AFL. I think Joel Smith may have been one?? Corey Maynard. Any in the AFL of note?

Neil Balme - A Tale of Two men
Sure did. One of my favourite seasons watching the Dee's. That 94 final against Carlton where Schwartz , Charles and co ran amok and upset Carlton was one of my best days at the footy

Welcome to Demonland Josh Schache
Agree . I trust Taylor to be able to pick up a good prospect and Weid and Schache are on par at this point in their careers

Welcome to Demonland Josh Schache
He's a demon now I'll give a chance.. Josh is definately in his last chance but he has ability

Welcome to Demonland Josh Schache
I think your over rating Weiderman

Welcome to Demonland Josh Schache
Similar to weid. Obviously had a line written through him by Bevo just as Goody did with Sam. worth a try IMHO. At worst he ends up playing Casey all year just as Weid would have done
-
Farewell Sam Weideman
I wish weid ask the best should he go. No chance he gets a touch against our key backs. Says All you need to know.

O'Meara O Dear!
His first couple of seasons at gold coast where pretty good. Had burst away speed and Chris Judd comparisons where looking like they where justified. Injuries stopped what would have been a great career
-
Farewell Brodie Grundy
Sounds good. One thing I really like is that most clubs play a non ruckman in the position for 20+ minutes a game like silvagni at Carlton for example. Those tigers will have to go up against either Grundy or Max. !!

Farewell Brodie Grundy
There is so much commentary and discussion on "how will gawn and Grundy work" pretty easy from my perspective. Watch our games from 2021/22. Grundy replaces Jackson pretty easy concept
-
Farewell Brodie Grundy
Collingwood pr got this out there. It would be true we are paying more than 50% but his wage that we are paying in real terms would be well unders for his calibre of player is getting paid in the league
-
Farewell Brodie Grundy
Who cares, it'll be more than the pie's would like to become public knowledge
-
Farewell Brodie Grundy
Can't think of a better ruck duo in the history of the game on paper

Welcome to Demonland Josh Schache
Sounds like It's a net zero. Casey will soon find out. He did have a few good games back but given Bulldogs lack in that area not sure he could slot in to free up Petty to go forward? Beverage seems to have his favorites so could be he was more deserving of a have than others. I'm not against it particularly if it costs us same or less than we get for Weideman
-
Farewell Luke Jackson
Feel the same. Surely there should be a rule against players meeting clubs in season and still in contract. I though there already was?
-
Farewell Luke Jackson
The quote from David walls the Freo list manager would indicate otherwise."Luke has been our number one priority all year and obviously throughout the trade period," "He's got so much versatility and so much scope to improve as a player. Weโre really only scratching the surface with what he can do. "He's only just turned 21, when you look at what heโs doing with his relative age rating for a player in his position, he's off the charts. "In his draft year, we had him rated at number one in the draft."

Farewell Luke Jackson
Being out of contract also limits what you can get. I wonder if we could have been a bit more clever and have had an agreement with Jackson when he was yet to make a decision and sign him up to two with a guarantee to trade him if that's what he decided (which he did). It would have given us some more leverage. I think this could have been one instance given the circumstances where it could have worked??
