NON-MFC: Round 01
thursday and friday look like total fizzers. The only interest in Thursday is if the tigers can get a win and push the blues to further implode and be in crisis after 2 games. Hawks will destroy the bombres .Port v North and Suns v eagles stinkers in there as well for a league that fixes the fixture round one is a bit meh!

KOZZY A DEMON FOR LIFE!!!
who gives a flying fig. Cornes doesn't get it . Longer contracts - 1. lock in Gun players to your club 2. help you manage your salary cap 3. Give you more leverage in a trade. Yes the risk is the player drops off and looses some value but this is a case Kossie signed a long term contract at 23 years old. A much lower risk profile than many of the long term deals that have been signed

Farewell Clayton Oliver
And got a flag, so the tactics were spot on for paying against a young team

Welcome to Demonland: Paddy Cross
Good article, bloke has toiled away working his backside of for the chance. Won't waste it through lack of trying .

GAMEDAY: Practice Match vs North Melbourne
I'll support and hope for the best as long as he's a demon but I'm yet to see anything that suggests he'll make it. What are his weapon/s supposed to be?

GAMEDAY: Practice Match vs North Melbourne
Max Heath looks a good size and not uncompetitive in the tap outs against one of the premier ruckmen in the comp

Welcome to Demonland: Thomas Matthews

JT may have pulled off a fake out and we wanted Taylor the whole time.

AFL Draft 2025: Picks 7 & 8
Our recruiters are experts in studying young talent and have a high strike rate % at the top end. They wouldn't be "fooled" by one good game. I am totally OK with whoever they pick I am every year .

AFL Draft 2025: Picks 7 & 8
we'll fix his suspect kicking action within the pre season 😅

2026 AFL Fixture
At a quick glance , I can see 8-10 wins next year at best . Maybe a sneaky 10th spot chance :-) Finals baby!!!

Wildcard Round
Don't hate it. A weekend of footy with 2 games that have actual stakes. Could throw up some very interesting scenarios. Certainly better than "opening" round

Calling all pre-season track watchers ...
Was great to see a group of the boys running around before the official start of training. Led by Tmac what a legend he is. Refusing to let age dictate him out of the game. I hope King plays players on merit as Tmac deserves a go and if plays to last year's standard to keep his spot . No reason this season has to be his last
-
Sam Grlj
Doubt he lasts until 7
-
Farewell Taj Woewodin
Best of luck taj. Cruel to say but probably wouldn't have got much of a look in without the surname. Just that level below afl standard

AFL Draft 2025: Picks 7 & 8

Deathriding Gold Coast 2026 - Sponsored by OnTrac5
this lets hope he is bombing it into 50 .or resting forward with sub 40% accuracy. the draw will be intersting they should get a tougher draw than last year but it's a fixture so who knows what the AFL will throw up. Ever chance rnd 1 (or zero or 2 or opening round or whatever the hell it is)is melbourne v GC on the GC with a blockbuster 14K people there
