Real pity Luker got injured. If we only have Mihocek and JVR, we have to play Moose, especially against his old side and now with 5 on bench. He is a chop out for Max and a big guy up forward they will have to counter.

It’s not just us. TDK and Silvagni played very well for Saints. Curnow was ok for Swans. Hayward was good for Blues. Not unusual for players to get up for their first game for a new club.

All I said is that maybe his new Coach had some influence on his performance. Not sure why we are discussing guarantees that no other Coach could have improved him except Hardwick. How would anyone know that?

I thought he did ask the Suns but wasn’t pushing it, so I accept the word nominate could be wrong. LT I accept there was no formal nomination. As we have 2 first round picks this year, of the other clubs who are pursuing him, who do you feel has more to offer the Suns to get a deal done, than us, without losing a player the courting clubs want to keep? I would have thought with those picks we are in a pretty good position to start discussions. I note also his best mate is a Demon. Lastly, I am not desperate to get BH like some others. As I have posted previously, if we could draft another Langford and Disco for example, with our two first round picks, I would do that.

I am very happy with his 4th best game. I am also happy with Taylor, Trelly and another player to come from the Tracc trade. It’s a long season and more to come, with three young players who will need time, before I can realistically evaluate the trade. Additionally a few from inside the locker room have said it is a better place now and that can’t be dismissed.
