If you are correct and he leaves Eagles but for North, then it would lead me to believe that it is only about money and that we elected not to, or weren’t able to match North’s offer. If that is the case, that would lead me to believe that we have identified another player we want.

Another outside mid in Hall going to the Roos. That could be three in one hit.
  3. That is the conundrum and what I was writing about. The result being decided after the game. If the head count had taken place we wouldn’t need an after the game review.
  4. Apparently they have the Count Rule which must be instigated by the opposition Captain. This did not happen. The offending player left the field before this could be instigated. What has happened now is a post game review of an incident. There are precedents galore that can arise. A touched goal in a close win. A blatant free kick error that gifts the winning goal. A post game positive drug test. A goal after the siren that wins the game with umpires not hearing it due to crowd noise, etc etc. It is a dangerous precedent post game to change the result. There will always be a loser in these instances, but it shouldn’t be the game itself.

Have we stopped being f....d yet? No, we still are.
  7. Humour meter off?
  8. As I said , reported on VFL site Melbourne’s travelling emergencies won’t hang around to watch the Demons take on West Coast in Saturday afternoon’s preliminary final, instead flying back from Perth as soon as the game starts in order to be rested for Sunday’s VFL grand final. The Dees say they are planning on taking a squad of 24 to Western Australia for the clash at Optus Stadium, with Melbourne to fly on match eve as is their usual practice.
  9. Agree. If Hunt was back to his best form he would be the one at Optus, but he isn't. Something is wrong there. As for Smith, he has great potential, but is injury prone and that is a worry in a sudden death final. My gut feeling tells me we will make no change.
  10. You mean like with Goldsack.
  11. What's he doing in Perth?
  12. Great idea. Trouble is the cost to the MCC, of having the ground open and secured and staffed. Then again if everyone paid $10 they could get thousands there.
  13. Don't know anything about him, but if he is quick, a goal sneak, or play maker and who applies forward pressure, he is the type we can use.
  14. Thanks I will go and check it out.
  15. Somewhere over the rainbow, a premiership waits,

Just have a sneaky feeling there is a lot more to play out on this. I think we are still a chance of getting him.
  17. When exactly was the torp, I keep missing it on the replay?
  18. Bruce Woodley was at the game on friday.

    That's more than 3 words.
  20. Stretch and JKH will stay.
  21. Vince and Balic.

    It’s a scary face.
  23. I agree with your thinking and that is why I hoped Hunt had a blinder yesterday, but he didn’t.
  24. Why, look how they plan everything else.
  25. Would have loved Hunt to turn it on and come under consideration, but he didn’t. I just think we need some run and carry at Optus. Most likely no change though.
