  1. You want JKH out, who had the same possessions as ANB, but unlike ANB who turned over half of them, every one of JKH's were to our advantage. He took a few marks as well, unlike ANB, who dropped the crucial one in the last that may have led to a goal and us close to hitting the lead. That was JKH's best game for us this season and one of ANB's worst and you want to drop JKH, who at least plays footy, in favour of a skilless runner. WOW!
  2. Well if we lower our eyes when entering the F50 and TRY and pass to a team mate, instead of the perennial long bomb, we are a chance.
  3. Maybe, because he said it felt a bit better later in the game and he wanted to help us win the game and make the finals for the first time in 12 years and then if needed, have a rest the next week.
  4. I think Kent for Spargo will also be considered. Quicker, better kick, harder and more experienced and possibly on last chance to show he belongs. Spargo will be a player and he has time. This is a crunch game. The big decision could be Pedo or Weid. Pedo was really poor on sunday as he was in his other game earlier this year. TBH I don't think Weid could do worse and he may even be better as the relief ruck, as he as shown previously.
  5. Yeah but Heeney is much bigger than Pedo, oh wait a minute. We clearly went in with one lumbering player too many. Oh and also one skilless player and one sh-t scared player.
  6. Don't remember the first, but the second was a shocker.
  7. Actually Perth ground 4 metres longer, but no big deal.
  8. They do share the same training ground, not that I know that is the cause. Interestingly however, we are looking to move.
  9. Yes, that is a stat I care about.
  10. Yep he was great on the weekend, with his 10 possies and 4 turnovers and nearly getting Jesse killed, with an easy pass which set up Mark of the Year to his opponent. It was a similar game to his other one earlier in the year.
  11. We know what Garry was trying to say, but it was a stupid comment. ATM we are in the 8 because we have more wins and/or percentage than the teams below us. The same as it has always been. I didn’t know you shouldn’t play finals if you beat the wrong teams.
  12. That has been my footy go to for the last 12 years.
  13. My post was actually rather simple. I was saying that personally I am sick of stats as I am only really invested in one - wins. I have not found it superficial gaining my knowledge from seeing the games and what happened at them and then knowing the result. I know why we lost on Sunday, we missed probably 12 gettable shots. My point is that knowing we had 50% more F50 entries doesn’t make me happy, if anything it makes me angrier. For those happy to invest in their stats, enjoy. If it brings happiness to know after losing a game that we won certain stat categories, who am I to interfere with that. It’s just not for me anymore.
  14. Even if pigs fly over the ground and it happens Ethan, it won't matter if we lose.
  15. Think I got it correct again.
  16. I am sick to death of the crap being written about stats. There is only one thing that matters, as Jaded has said - WINS. You can use stats to paint over faults, or gloss over failure. At the end of the day I don't give a rats about F50's, contested ball, clearances, hit outs to advantage, metres gained, kicks to handballs etc, if we lose. There is only one stat this club and its supporters need to concentrate on - WINS. When we dominate that stat, I will happily consider the rest of them.
  17. Jeffy might not have had a lot of disposals, but at least he gave us defensive pressure and tackled madly. Tackles 0.
  18. But as a Melbourne fan you would have missed.
  19. And you share them with me. This bloke absolutely cracks under pressure. That pathetic dropped mark in the middle, off the Petracca pass, which could have been better, granted, but nevertheless, ANB shat himself. It was obvious. That could have been the chance to do something and redeem himself, after at least 7-8 turnovers from him entering our F50. His skill errors kill us against good sides. I don't give a damn how far he runs, he has terrible ball skills, fumbles, gets in the way, cracks under pressure and destroys our forward thrusts. Yes he can snag a goal against the crap, but he is not AFL standard and IMO will never be.
  20. To be honest I thought umpire 26 was the one who killed us. I don't think he paid us a free all day.
  21. Why did we have 74 interchanges to 71 when we had two more fit players and are allowed 90?
  22. Let's analyze that. In every one of those games we had more inside 50's and scoring shots. The other side kicked well like Geelong's 16-4, while we missed sitters. Players stood up and lead for the other side, while we were leaderless. We lacked experience and made simple errors. The umpiring favoured the other side. We played players who can't handle pressure, hello ANB, Jeffy. We played skilless players, hello ANB. We lacked pace. We lacked the coaching that could do something to win the game. We lacked the mental capacity to do simple things correctly like kick sitters. We made several stupid decisions. We don't know how to save a game when it's close or win one when it's close. We appear to be badly drilled when it's close. We have players who can't kick 30 metres, hello Spargo. We have no stars to drag us over the line. We persist with bombing the ball into the F50 even when it is clearly not working. etc, etc, etc.
  23. Yep. Terrible, just plain terrible.
