Got the answer Walker and Bradtke.

Delisting, Trade and FA discussion 2018
Are we out of the running for one of the Irish boys as a category B rookie? I know we have Bradtke as one. Do we have another one? Sad when we started this and one of the boys is the talented 198 cm Anton Tohill, son of Anthony, who played Reserves for us in the 80's.

Aaron vandenBerg not going - signs a new deal!!!
Yep. I think they are all "keeps" for Swans. They do have a couple of blokes in the seconds who we may be looking at, or otherwise it will be a pick that we will hope to bundle and upgrade I think.

None of those 5 will be pushed out.

I think the clowns are now in the ring.

Do you think we haven't already spoken to Freo, before we softened our stance on looking at a deal?

Good post. Also with those that are NQR that have left, the hope is to get 1 or 2 that are better than them, not just to replace them. That is always the aim of list changes.

Is it selling the farm to pay what others offer if it costs you nothing to get a top player? I understand there is a cap, but other clubs seem to manage or are true destination clubs.

And that is why they told him to look around and why, when we have no first round pick or experienced player wanting to go to GC, Cameron said the trade should be done early next week.

Interesting that we are now a destination club, but we don't seem able to take advantage of it and get a FA, well at least not so far.

What Makes a De$tination Club?
Still don't think we have got a top FA yet.

That kid has serious talent. Wow!

They may laugh and he still may go. He also might not. It is obviously something that will be raised. I am sure a few scenarios will be raised before the deal is done. What does literally live in WA mean BTW?

Disagree, the arrival of Jesse would be bigger than the departure of Brayshaw. You sell it be saying Jesse wanted to come home, as did Brayshaw and who also wanted to play with his brother, something that would have come up every year, like the Jesse saga. Keeping 4 or 5 would also soothe the members as there are probably better players than Brayshaw available at that pick. We would need to trade the pick to Port for 9 and 10 and hope GC would take say 9 and a future pick as well, leaving us say 10 or use the pick and offer GC our first next year and something else as well.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Well for a start Angus has said we need to get him over to the Dees. We could then get Hamish, who has not played a game in his first year, to leave the Eagles and we could rookie him, saving Dad a flight every second week to see his sons play. Couldn't see the Eagles standing in his way. ATM he appears to be a WAFL player.

I won't be.

Must say it made the reporter look stupid and pushy.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
It is sad and more so, because we have totally supported and paid him during his issues and injuries. But is is a job for him and whether it is influenced by money or family etc, it is his prerogative to decide in which state he works and lives. That is the nature of footy today and we just need to get the best deal we can. As I said in an earlier post, I regard him as an ex player now, as his leaving seems a formality provided a deal is done. He will move on and I already have.

Felt a bit sorry for him on news yesterday at the airport. Was asked if he had decided to leave us and he said no. Was then asked the same question 5 different ways answering no every time. Reporter wouldn't give up.

If May selects us and we trade JH, the deal will be done. Interestingly GC didn't rule out a trade like they did with Martin.

Sounds like the trade deal is agreed. Good to get one done early and concentrate on bigger ones.

7 gone off main list and a rookie, with 4 possibles we know of, Kent, Tyson, AVB and JH. That is 11 off the main list if they all go. If May and KK come in we need 9 more players. We will not draft 9, so that tells me we have our eyes on a couple more players at least.

Is it as sound as the article in the paper that says exactly what you have said.
