There is no doubt we cut Jessie a lot of slack, because of the many issues he had and we were all aware of. Many of those are not current and he may not be given the same leeway by the Dockers fans. Then again he is not a Dee anymore, so it's not our problem. Wish him well.

May played as a forward as a Junior. Petty also has played forward. Joel Smith will be tried forward. We also have Hannan, VDB and Fritsch as forwards who can play tall. Max can rest forward. Preuss is no worse than Cox and could play patches up forward. Last resort we have Tim Smith who could fill in.

He won't stay as Blues will get him if Bombers don't. GWS are furious over the article the other day that Shiel is now a Bomber.

I have it on good authority that the club is training Spargo to grow taller.

Actually it includes Tyson out and Preuss in. They are our deals so far.

What if the kid we draft at 23 is another Oliver. How would the deal look then?

So the deal is Hogan and Kent for 6 and 23. Hopefully we keep 23 after getting May and KK. This could yet end up an extremely embarrassing deal for us. We will see how it all ends up after the May/KK deals.

Heard that GWs are fed up with Bombers and Dodoro. Carlton is pitching next year's first pick and Shiel is happy to play with either club. He could end up with the Blues unless Dodoro blinks.

Given that KK deal has taken this long, I would assume it will be part of May deal.

Yep Tigers signed Dusty for peanuts. About $1.3m peanuts a year for about 6 years.

A player who has no hope of playing 8 years.

It does in compensation from the AFL for losing a player.

Maybe not done in the last few minutes, but drip fed announcements in the last few minutes.

if nothing else it is against the AFL Draft rules and should be dealt with.

I know we are all waiting for the JH, May, KK deals, but I wonder if there is someone we are looking at as a late trade.
