  1. Fritts and Petty were already positives before yesterday. Yesterdays game was poor again, in skill and effort. I am now looking at the coaching, as injuries are no longer the excuse for style of play, especially when your opponents injuries are far worse. This is is the second time in 3 years, where a decimated Pies side has belted us. Donโ€™t be fooled by the margin at the end, like the Bombers last night, we got a few last minute junk time goals. I just canโ€™t believe we had Coaches yesterday who left the most dangerous Pie unmanned the whole game. Sidebottom was actually laughing at times. We seem to be labouring under a play on at all costs game plan, which with our poor skill, is destroying us every game. Sad to say this, but you have to stop caring, because it is too upsetting. This would have to be one of the most disappointing seasons for us in the last 50 years, as we had so much hope for the year.
  2. Nothing redeeming from today at all. Poor effort and terrible skill. Been a shocking year and now have absolutely no interest in the AFL at all.
  3. Redleg replied to Mattdees's topic in Melbourne Demons
We are not good enough to be woeful, we are far worse.
  4. This garbage has nothing to do with injuries or pre season. Now even less skill and even less effort. Those who hate Oscar, at least he can kick a footy, unlike 18 of our players out there. May, Salem Frost and Oscar only ones who can pass the footy. Melksham hopeless today. BTW all coaches must be blind to leave Sidebottom untagged.
  5. Well the Pies are at their weakest all year. We have a few out like Tom, Weid, AVB, Hannan, Smith, Jetta but DeGoey, Cox, Beams,Wells, Aish, Moore, Stevenson, Reid, Dunn, Langdon, Sier etc is a big group missing.
  6. I think a season like this one will see a lot of changes at the Dees and they have started.
  7. Fair enough. Someone else suggested it and I thought your post was following the same theme. Yes I would take Ollie for the right deal.
  8. Well Josh Wagner is a Queensland boy and probably so is his brother. With pick 2 you would get something back and on that basis you have your missing extra key forward and extra chop out ruckman in another year or two.
  9. We have the chance with pick 2 to get a very good player, rather than a 25 year old who is struggling at the moment and is another slow inside mid. We need real class badly. NO!
  10. Wrong artist. That was T-Rex. Anyway, I am too busy looking for clues.
  11. That sounds simply irresistible.
  12. No but Max might be able to, as he is a good palmer of the ball.
  13. Just watched Open Mike with Andrew Dunkley as the guest. If Kyle is anything like his father and given what this family has done to support the kids' sport, I feel confident that we have a good player on our hands.
  14. Incorrect. He has played 35 out of 110 and more importantly, 7 of the last 66. I included the last 3 rounds this year.
  15. The beauty of it is that it isnโ€™t our decision.
  16. It was actually my 3 word summary of last week as Joeboy was absent. But you can also add "grass"
  17. "Never plays, causes trouble". Hum along you know the tune.
  18. How about pick the absolute best player still available in the draft at our first pick and then develop him properly and give him a good game plan to play to and top class medical and conditioning staff and facilities to utilise.
  19. Here it is: MFC - don't like rain.
  20. We are clearly making some changes in the FD, as we need to.
  21. Talk about Vanilla. He will be 27 at the end of this season and has played 2 games in the last 4 seasons, of a possible 88 games, for 19 possessions in total. He had 2 x 1%'s in those 2 games that is 1 a game. Yes talk about Vanilla. Vanilla would be a taste sensation in his case. I am happy for him to win 5 Brownlows with someone else. We haven't got the time to look after him, we have too much else to do. Oh and lastly we have plenty of other players on our list who can't get on the park, we don't need any more.
  22. He may not have succeeded as Senior Coach but he has an impressive CV as an Assistant, who is highly thought of by by past clubs and players.
  23. Would you buy another if he helped us win a flag? PS. I am not advocating getting him.
