WELCOME TO DEMONLAND KYLE DUNKLEY
Think that is just Andrew, low key and quiet. Pretty sure they are happy he stays in Melbourne.

The 2019 Mid Season Draft
Well done, think you got it first.

Jeremy Finlayson
We obviously did medicals on May and KK.

Jeremy Finlayson
This bloke was gettable last trade period and I was pushing him hard on DL, with not a lot of support from other posters. Given our current position with key forwards and his form, he would have been invaluable. GWS was looking to make salary cap room and he would not have cost a lot in salary or trade. I said at the time he was big, mobile and could play both ends of the ground. He would have been a good get for us and might have helped us win another game or two to this point of the season, which would have kept our finals chances alive. Big pity.

The 2019 Mid Season Draft
Rather him kicking for goal than most of our players.

The 2019 Mid Season Draft
Maybe a bit too much with 4-5 but would agree with taking at least 2 picks if we could LTI a player. I would look for best key forward and best skillful/pacy player around and if a 3rd pick was possible a young Jeffy type, as Bedford will be a way off if he even makes it. More than likely however we will go very conservative and take only one pick. Not clearing AVB to the Swans for a pick or player, is turning out another disaster for us with him unable to get on the park again.

Yep. I think his natural game has been coached out of him, with him being told he is not to turnover the ball at all costs and that has stopped him playing on like he did in his first few games. He was a run and carry player who is now stop start. I think he has improvement in him.

POSTGAME: Rd 10 vs GWS
And in the end, instead of completely capitulation like in years gone by, we hung in and had our best quarter in weeks and lost by only 4 goals. If we are realistic, on paper the teams suggested an 80 point win to the Giants. My God Corey Wagner was on Kelly at times, Lockhart on Whitfield etc. Get real people. The real disappointment is the lack of skill across the list. What summed up the whole game for me was the Lockhart pass late in the game to Viney who had a 193 cm player next to him and then the kick went high up in the air. Seriously?

No you are not Dazzle. He is a whipping boy on here. I would be getting rid of plenty before him. Needs a few more games and hopefully as confidence grows we can see his best. At the top of the list to go IMO is the most frightened player on the list, Jeffy.

Don't think he caused a turnover today.

POSTGAME: Rd 10 vs GWS
Can't you. Melksham, May , Lever, Hibberd, AVB, Jetta, Salem and Hannan in for starters and Cameron, Davis, Kelly, Coniglio, Haynes and Whitfield out and who wins? Of course you can blame injuries. We had a bunch of VFL players in against a full strength Giants team and you expect them to win. I don't know how the hell we got within 25 points at the end. PS> As usual our skill was pathetic, but also not helped by VFL players making up half the team.

My 3 word player analysis V GWS
Agree. He and Max carried us today, while others watched.

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs GWS
For Gods sake people, other than our pathetic skills, which makes it impossible to watch, did anyone think our Casey side would get within 10 goals of a full strength Giants.

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs GWS
Well let’s reverse the situation and take 10 of their best 22 out and put our 10 back in, would there be a difference? Aside from that our disposal is the worst in the AFL. Also none of our mids have had 10 possies in half a game. Any wonder that this injury ravaged, non skilled team is being beaten by one of the most talented teams in the AFL. That is as positive as I can get.

Giants at nearly full strength against Casey. What do you expect?

Oskar's debut - What a speech!
Robbo showed it on 360 and said he was really moved when he first saw it and then again when it was shown last night. We all tend to forget in our passion for the club and winning, that these guys have lives away from footy and that events outside of the game can clearly impact on their performance. Good luck to Oskar and hope he has a long career with us.

Oskar's debut - What a speech!
Truly lovely moment. I lost my mum when I was 38 and have never got over it. Oskar lost his mum before he was 21. He has done it hard. All the best to him and his family. I hope he has a great career with us. Football clubs do sometimes present a window into players lives and this was one that has brought us closer to the player and his family.

My 3 word player analysis V West Coast
Agree BB. I was also proud of our boys in their moral win ( won everywhere but the scoreboard) with a severely depleted side, in Perth against a stronger premier than the GF (Barrass out and Gaff and Shepperd in ) after 2 consecutive interstate trips and a short break. Unbelievable really. Was nearly the 2 nd miracle result of the weekend. I was angry at Trac, Jeffy and Tom for their inaccuracy, but then sad for Trac, as you can see in his face he is panic stricken when shooting for goal. It is not the yips, it is a mental doubt in his ability to convert and I hope he is seeing someone, be it professionally, or a past player to get over this. There is fear in his eyes and I feel sorry for him, he is over trying. Back to the match, Robbo said if we won it could be the best win if any club in the last 20 years. That is a big statement and guess what, we kick straight and had better umpiring and it may have happened.
