  1. Personally, I couldn't care less about me, or other Dees fans, recognising our game style. I care about wins. Some wins may come from a different gamestyle, that is needed on that day. For example a wet day, a windy day, a team playing a very tall side or a small side, or whatever. Who cares if it is recognisable?
  2. Stratton deserves more than a sling tackle. He is actually a fairly dirty player and personally I wouldn't be sad to see him cop a bit from another team.
  3. Would be playing if fit and is ahead of Weid. Weid just seems to drop most attempts at a mark, while Petty has great hands.
  4. Send me a pm with your address so I can serve the Defamation Proceedings.
  5. Great game. Got a player for nothing.
  6. No room, full of my many sporting trophies .
  7. Ankle.
  8. Which game are you watching?
  9. But I have the vibe.
  10. Somebody call me?
  11. Have we got any spots left on the list? Nieta is out for the year and KK looks unlikely. Would have a thought a decision on KK might be coming soon, as he doesn't seem to be improving.
  12. As do I.
  13. Stupid thread.
  14. Personally so would I. I am sick of moralising. Win games and win a flag, I don't care about the hows and whys and whos.
  15. I was answering your post that we had to beat the best to be the best, we don't . I wasn't posting about hoping other teams have injuries, that is the luck aspect, that all Premiership teams have.
  16. No we have to win enough games to make finals. That requires good play and luck with injuries, umpiring etc. You can lose to good teams and still make the finals and win it. The only thing that matters is getting to the GF and on the day winning, not being the best team all year.
  17. The kid in that video is an AFL player with great pace. Obviously he is either down on fitness or confidence. Once he regains one or both he will be back. You don't just lose your talent overnight.
  18. Yes. Their pressure in forward 50 is stopping any free flow from Roos defence. We have missed this for a while.
  19. Has been for a while. That includes field kicking and handball as well.
  20. His best probably.
  21. Jim Munro veteran.
  22. He once ran the ball from the back pocket at Windy Hill ending up kicking a goal. The most skillful player I have ever seen.
  23. Brings tears to my eyes. I actually loved this guy, as a footballer and as a person.
  24. I think we can say now that if you push a bloke over and he goes off with a sprained ankle, you will be suspended, but if you belt a bloke in the face and he plays on, that might be a fine. The action has lost all relevance and only the result counts. Still the worst decision I have ever seen was the weeks Moloney got several years ago, for running at a Cats player, but not touching him and the Cats player falling over trying to avoid Moloney. No contact but suspended.
  25. Seriously though, Clarrie is hit in the mouth by Crouch's shoulder, after Clarrie got rid of the ball and was wide open, when there was no need by Crouch to touch him and Crouch jumped off the ground to hit him and Clarrie coughs up blood from the blow. That has been a suspension every time over the last few years, but no. I actually think Christian has become a parody of himself and the MRP.
