  1. We are not Bombers, Pies, Tigers or Cats. We won’t say a thing. Thankfully a few in the media are though.
  2. Billy’s miss was harder than all of Trac and Tom’s 8 misses.
  3. He actually did move his arms but Smith didn’t hear him. Then driven into the ground in a dangerous tackle and no free and goal at other end and game over. King and Eddie both rubbished the umpiring as did BT during the call.
  4. Trac and Tom kick their easy goals and we win by 5 goals and umpires can f...k themselves.
  5. David King just said there will be a lot of anger against the umpires by the Dees and virtually insinuated they robbed us completely.
  6. 8 frees to 1 last quarter to Eagles. Oh yeah.
  7. Sorry Dazzle he is worse than putrid. What he is doing must be soul destroying to his team mates. He just missed from 3 meters out. I think he and Tom have missed about 8 shots between them all what could be considered easy certainties. Trac owes us a good final quarter.
  8. Couldn’t hurt as he is putrid at the moment. Makes Casboult look like a dead eye.
  9. No he needs to see a psychologist. This is purely mental. He is terrified of missing and you can see it clearly in his face.
  10. We should change our nick name to the butchers, because we butcher the ball. If not for that we would be several goals ahead. Great effort so far by a severely undermanned team playing in a hostile environment. Keep it going Dees.

Shouldn't be too hard to get another win tonight. Playing at home with a full strength side. Oh, sorry, that is the opposition.
  12. I haven't received mine.

Looks a lot older than 20.

The point is Weid is our next key forward after Tom and then there is nothing. We need another desperately. I would be looking at the best key forward available in the mid season draft, as that is our most pressing need.
  15. BS. We won't be frightened at all, that is just rubbish. Lack of belief, probably, but not fright. We know we have a severely depleted side and the footy world gives us no chance, so what is there to lose? Give it your best, apply absolute and constant pressure to the opposition and see what happens.

There is no doubt that playing with better players gives you a good chance to perform at a better level. That of course has to be tempered by the fact that your opposition is better and quicker and the game is faster. The real problem for Oskar, is that unlike most clubs, we are poorly skilled and that pass that should hit him on the chest may in fact land in a food outlet. Glad though that he is getting a chance and hope he has a good one.

More than the next in line.

Not quite. First Boyd’s contract could have been heavily front loaded and even if not he has retired and done a deal to end his contract. Buddy or more particularly the Swans can not do that as the AFL passed the Buddy rule as they were furious with the Swans at the time.

Yes. Without him we have only one possibility and his best at the moment is fumbling marks and if lucky kicking the ball off the ground into the goal post from 2 metres out.

Did you tell him you were a Dees fan? That is not good for the ticker. Seriously though, I hope you are well and continue to be so for many years to come well into your old age and enjoy seeing a few more Dees flags, though one would be nice for starters.

I went across to Perth and saw that game with the family. It was sensational. I gave us no hope whatsoever, with the injury ravaged team we had, just like tomorrow. Can lightning strike twice? My son and I were asked to help with the banner and we were more than happy to oblige. A very memorable day indeed.

Will be surprised if he doesn't sign a new deal with us before the end of the season, well south of his original ambit figure.

Wish the boy well for the future, but with his manager, $2m won't be left on the table. There might be a saving to the Dogs and more cap space in 20/21 and a mid year draft pick, but don't always believe what you read. He will get most of that contracted $7m is my belief. If properly invested, he will have an income for life, even if he never works again.
