  1. We could but you would have to go around about 1.5 times.
  2. Yes it is often said “ the umpires giveth and taketh away.”
  3. They might if umpires give Charlie a free close to goal, despite the fact he isn’t playing, or even in the State.
  4. I am in Queensland atm and the barbarians up here aren’t showing it. Got some stupid gardening show on. Who gardens anyway and especially when Casey are playing.
  5. In my day that was the name of my favourite pink sports newspaper. I would buy fish and chips on the way home from the game and eat them while reading the fabulous, just printed, pink Sporting Globe. Ah the wonderful memories.
  6. They even had the nerve to name one of the companies after yours truly, “Redtube”. I should sue, but I don’t trust lawyers.
  7. I envy the Cordon Bleu taste and preparation skills of Uncle Bitter. He is the unchallenged MasterChef of Romsey.
  8. On my iPad for the Casey game and then to the tv, for todays feast of Demons’ footy.
  9. You left out watching Casey on the manor computer before the main event. Time to open the spindle on the Shiraz de Wine Cask 2023 to enjoy while watching the 2 games. Maybe even defrost the party pies and make a real celebration of the day.
  10. Because Alir hit the ball away before it got to the goal line and the goal umpire saw it. BTW in that last kick, Buddy pushed Bergman in the back and you can back it in, that if the ball went through, the umpires wouldn’t have called the free.
  11. Should have gone to New Orleans.
  12. There is no sunshine in Tasmania.
  13. Don’t you like when Jobe says things like,” if you kick the highest score you often win” and “the side that wins possession, often has the ball”.
  14. And he has some sh.t in him, as well as being a very good contested mark, even as a skinny teenager. I think we have a very good one here and 8-10 kilos of muscle will really make him.
  15. I wonder if my theory now has some merit. It was that other players are unhappy about team mates being traded to fit LJ in and jealousy at his contract.
  16. He can surprise us all.
  17. Both have been poor. Playing their last season.
  18. Unfortunately most people can have a d…head moment. I just hope that it’s never one of ours.
  19. Yes and another reason was pathetic, one sided umpiring. The free kick count is not the determining factor of poor umpiring. It is when blatantly bad decisions continually go to one side and then change the momentum and ultimately the result of the game. If I was a Roos fan I would be livid just like the Giants fans were last week. Coincidentally against the same team.
  20. 4 weeks into the season and we have some very unseemly behaviour from footballers being aired. The AFL PR department and spin doctors will be hard at work. That was an unintentional pun.
  21. Well said.
  22. At the time when he left us, Scott had played 39 games and was not yet the Crows star of over 300 games you are stating was obviously better than JJ, since it made you lol. I think we could have managed a player this week and kept him in the 22. If Hibbo pulls out he may still play, but that is not the point.
  23. Quite amazing, as the Coach describes JJ’s game as “ exceptional “ and then drops him. It’s still early in the season, but I am starting to get a Scott Thompson feel about this. Hope I am wrong.
  24. It’s actually embarrassing now, two weeks in a row they have been given games, by incompetent officiating. That non free to Zurhaar is one of the worst decisions I can recall and no surprise it was number 1 Donlon, who I think even drove the Blues home in their bus.
