Were you saying that about him the last two years? He just lost form and confidence and our style of play didn't help. He will regain form and become a permanent player in the 22 soon. Have you also dismissed Kolt as a player, because of his nightmare game against the Eagles? Patience grasshopper.

Petty was pushed back off balance contributing to the collision. This was done by a guy who did much worse earlier in the year and got away with it. Goody who rarely mentions incidents, certainly highlighted this part of it, asking the media how did Petty contact McGovern?

He is still racking up possessions, though his use of the footy is an issue and his salary becomes a lower % of our Salary cap each year, as the salary cap increases. People are speaking about him like he has turned into a C grade Amateur reserves player. It may not be his best career form but he is far from our worst player which some seem to be intimating. What will be will be at the end of the year, but for now lets just show some support, for a player who probably needs it.

Agree. I underrate him and then I see him setting up scoring chances. He is one of those players like ANB, who are not always noticed by fans, but are valued inside their club. Can have quiet games, like many hff’s.

This year the only improved players seem to be Bowey and Chandler. Too many seem to have regressed. If I am correct and you all know I am rarely wrong on footy issues, 😀, then we have a problem. We need to ask the question if our development of players is up to scratch as it certainly appears it isn’t.

I am still pretty upbeat about this kid. Really looking forward to seeing him after a full pre season and the rest of this one developing at Casey. He might be our next smokie along with Sesto.
