Hawthorn, Dippa......most will know. Stretch was a great player for MFC.

Green was not a naturally hard player...head over the ball player. But he was crazy brave at times.

Bail contracted for 2014 I believe.

Watts was an absolute bottom age draft. He should have waited a year, but would have certainly gone to GCS. Thus he went into the 2008 draft. Didn't want to go to GC. A wandering talent since.

The AFL web site highlights a video of the Morton turnover and subsequent "interaction" with Neeld on the boundary. The video is called "Coach killer". Says it all. Ed: reckon its a real turning point; the footage - game and with Neeld - will be replayed for eternity (like the footage of Morton and Lade from 5 years ago).

G Lyon absolutely bagged Morton on the radio; intensity, double and tripple fumbles etc. Wrote him of really. Morton only has running ability as a plus. 5 years now (and no Bailey plugging for him). Done and dusted; doubt he is of much trade value either (especially give the Morton family history).

Watts for one was getting game time because "the young players needed to get games into them". I was never convinced, BUT who else do you play? There is/was not a lot of players knocking on the door. "Getting a game because you deserve it" is a cliche dependent on there being (suitable/adequate) players available. Seems Neeld has a "crash through or crash" view on things. Interesting times ahead.
