Let me balance the fan boi stuff. Not a fan of Williams after he held PA to ransom for huge coaching contract after flag. Not a lot to show after flag; short lived gigs at different clubs.

Daw's one good (very good) year at North was as a key/intercept backman. He had little impact as a forward and ruck in the other 10? yrs he was there. If MFC think he can fill a ruck and/or forward roll, they are not considering his history at North, just his size. Having said that, I was surprised they delisted him as he didn't play in defence after returning from injury last year, and there's no harm (and minimal cost) having him on our list. But his value is as a backman.

I've seen nothing since 2018 that gives me any hope for success. I think Goodwin has fired whatever shots he has and will be gone by mid-year.
