Whilst we were never going to win that game it`s fair to say we could have been a bit more competative. It must have been hard however for the players to give 110% when they knew they were being coached to lose. I thought the players were admirable in what must have been a very tough and frustrating year. Just glad its over !

Nearly fell out of bed last night when Caro on Footy Classified said Melbourne were a chance to snaffle big Brian. Moneys there and we have pick 1 in the PSD. Only question would be age i`d imagine. Hard to see him leaving though. My only concern is how are we gonna pay all these guys in the future when all our high draft picks are firing. Back / front end contracts i spose. Do we want him ???

When asked about his biggest regret in footy he said something along the lines of not getting mark of the year. Now a speccie for his last game... I would have thought the answer to the first one would be not delivering a premiership to the Melbourne faithfull. Only letting him off speccie comment as we dont want the win. But gee, it says it all.

I think you would have to remove his leg to stop him from playing next week. Always added the hardness this club so sorely lacked. Love ya Wheels and hope you can stick around in some capacity to guide the young blokes who obviously look up to you.

You are not taught to anticipate the bounce of the ball and change directions. You are taught to run in straight lines and put your head over the ball. He squibbed it. Most do at some stage early and learn from it, i like him and can see him as an Andrew McLeod type.

My biggest disappointment. The general lack of respect for the MFC both on field and off by other supporters and the media. It`s bad and getting worse.

Spot on. I had a chat to `Juice' with a mate of mine before the walk to the G day last year. He was in the crowd and not playing - not sure why. We stood there stunned as he told us he was glad he wasn`t playing as it was a miserable day for a forward weather wise. It was raining. Maybe he was trying to look cool in front of a couple of young guys, i don`t know, but it wasn`t what we were expecting. He may enjoy his footy but the passion to suceed or more importantly win just wasn`t there and thats what we all want.

Never been a Robbo fan but there`s no doubt he`s done some good things and has even won the odd game for the club. Whilst it must be his last year, i would like to see the club and supporters show him the respect he deserves in his last couple of months. I`m sick of players leaving this club on bad terms or with the shits, it`s not good for MFC. He has always loved the club and it`d be sad to see that change.
