He was targeted bigtime and i wonder if it had an influence in him dropping those chest marks. His attack on the footy however is first rate and ability to get to the right position phenomenal. You can't teach that. Due to his size though, i think he'll be pushed around until he baulks up. Very happy with him.

Not only did they miss plenty of ours but the frees handed to them in front of goal were disgracefull. When the margin is only 1 point i think you can safely say they cost us the game.

Could it be, that they are so low on confidence and that worried about making mistakes, that they're too scared to call for it. That's the feeling i get sometimes.

I`ve been driving my brother mad at games for the last couple of years (and i was at it again on Saturday) with " they're flat footed" comments. It's why we struggle at kick-ins too. We just don't work hard enough around the ground.

Would have to be a good addition with his age and body size. Sounds great, he earned me plenty of points in supercoach, ball magnet alright. Can someone tell me why he`s finished at Brisbane though, i seem to forget. Delisted ( why ? ) or did he leave ( why ? ).

I`ve always loved cricket and still do, however, i`d have to say my interest level over the last 3-4 years has dropped by at least 50%. I played for about 5 years as a junior and would attend as many Australian MCG games as possible. With a mate i attended all 5 days of the famous AUS v ENG 82/83 as a 12 year old. Up until a few years ago i would happily sit in front of the idiot box for a seven hour days play, or arrive at work bleary eyed having watched live from the Caribbean all night. But somethings changed for me, i struggle to watch it at all ! ( which disappoints me ) There`s just too much of it IMO and i fear for the future of the game on many levels. Fortunately i love the footy more than ever and whilst i wish it would hurry up and start, i hope they never venture into year round games.
