I totally agree Jaded. Problem is, our young team are far exceeding most of our dreams this year and we may well finish with more than 5 wins this year. We probably should have won the last 2 games and we would be knocking on the door of the 8. I am incredibly thrilled with the way they played yesterday with so much talent in the stands watching and as much as I would be stoked to get picks 1 and 2, I have a feeling we are going to be knocking off quite a few teams this year, starting with Collingwood on Queens B and who would be unhappy about that!!

Umpiring was very ordinary, but I guess the mistakes were evened out pretty well because Robbos 2 were just not there!. To get a crucial umpiring error with minutes to go and a 50 on a platter hurts however and killed the contest! Umpiring aside, there is no doubt we should have won today and were the better team for 80% of the match. There is so much to be excited about. To think Frawley, Riv and Garland were not there, not to mention our plethora of top draft picks yet to play a game, and those to come at the end of the year! We are on the way to being a superpower in 3 years!

Wheels will play next week! We lost Frawley and Rivers today who will more than likely be absent next week. Garland is gone for the year probably. Warnock, whilst good in patches, has had the most goals scored against in the league. Our backline is screaming out for Wheels right now!

Moloney has been exceptional all year and probably running 2nd for the B n F behind Davey currently. I think he is one of the most important players in our team and there is no co-incidence that Jones is having a much better this year because he is watching how Moloney goes about his work with hardness and grit at every contest. Love the bloke!

Just wait til Wona gets back from injury! Gets very excited does BT. BT gets stuck into our fans, not so much the players. I think he is starting to rate our young team along with Gerard Healy who has been more than happy to stick the boots in over the past 3 years.

I doubt anyone has looked as comfortable in 27 games for the Dees. Saying that, Grimer played his 2nd game today and although he had the odd clanger, he looked very much in his element!

The boys were great today. Turnovers are all that is costing us victory at the moment, along with a forward line that is still out of sorts although on the right track. The first 15 minutes of the 3rd quarter we were all over them but could not convert it on the scoreboard. Throw Watts and Wona up there next year and the tide will turn. We have a very exciting future ahead. I agree with Jaded , BRFE etc that this was a good result for our future, despite my wanting to win all day long.

This guy knows no fear. Some of the contests he runs into are unbelievable. Fingers crossed its a bad corky but it really did not look good at all. Landed very awkwardly on his lower leg/ankle.

I must admit I was choking up a bit reading that story. Amazing effort by Clint to play footy that day. While Clint is prone to the odd skill error now and then , I reckon his efforts this year have been a huge improvement from last year. He is pretty hard at the footy for a small bloke and I would think the experiences of the last few months in particular have made him a much tougher unit on the footy field. Inspirational Clint, well done mate!

I think it is safe to say we are a far better team this year. They are making mistakes yes but they are sticking to DB`s game plan of run n carry. When they get it right it looks sensational and they did it a few times today against the best team going round. I really enjoyed todays game and I am excited about our future. Frawley has been the biggest surprise packet this year, much like Garland last year. Rapt to see Stef Martin up forward. It was a good move by DB. We will have an embarrassment of riches in our backline by next year. Many other positives to take out of todays game!
