  1. Right thing to do Jobe but should have been done the moment you were proven guilty of using Performance Enhancing Drugs. Why has he waited so long, the final hearing results were known over a month ago? Reeks of tap on the shoulder to me.
  2. Grateful for everyone who dons the red n blue Saty ( I wished all 3 delistees well in an earlier post), it was more an indictment on the club and how poor we have been and not all that long ago. Its a little harder for you to accept because you are/were close to them.
  3. Hard to believe 2 of these blokes were top four in the Bluey and 1 was skipper just 3 years ago. The top 10 is simply horrific reading when you think about it bar 2 players..........brace yourselves 2013 Melbourne best and fairest results Winner: Keith ‘Bluey’ Truscott Memorial Trophy – Nathan Jones Second: Sid Anderson Memorial Trophy – Colin Garland Third: Ron Barassi Snr Memorial Trophy – Dean Terlich Fourth: Ivor Warne-Smith Memorial Trophy – Matt Jones Fifth: Dick Taylor Memorial Trophy – Colin Sylvia Sixth: Lynden Dunn . Seventh: James Frawley . Eighth: Jack Trengove Ninth: Jeremy Howe Tenth: Tom McDonald
  4. Yeah true that!!
  5. Yeah I feel for Jack, surprised they didn't even attempt a trade. A sad end to his career with us. I guess it shows you what his currency is out there in the marketplace. Hope someone else gives you a shot! All the best to all 3
  6. As I was saying........
  7. Have heard Jenkins has re-signed with Crows, in fact was done some time ago, just won't be announced til later in the year. Source is a mate with very strong AFC connections including a club legend.
  8. He was interviewed at the Heartland Training session at Toorak Park, no idea what he said BUT highlight of the day for my 2 little boys... Jesse walked passed us on the way home and said bye to the boys and got about 100m in front of us and the boys kept yelling out "bye Jesse Hogan".... Then in the semi darkness I see him turn around and kick an Auskick ball straight to us which we took home. Reckon they will remember that for a long time and I'm sure will get some milage at school!!
  9. Agree, he's been a good pickup, exceeded my expectations already!
  10. There were many people on here underwhelmed by the recruitment of Kennddy and Bugg just quietly... Have some faith in the new FD, they gave barely put a foot wrong the past 2 years
  11. Yeah he was very good again today, similar to last week but he kicked straight! And to think some on here wanted him dropped this week.....
  12. A bit of overreaction going on here. Yes his shots at goal were very poor, but he actually played a decent game of footy otherwise. 10 of his 17 possies were contested, took 9 marks, 5 contsted (team high) and led our score assists with 4. Remind me how many games he has played again? Give him a spell FFS
  13. Yep that would be nice, but not many players are better than Brownlow medallists. Love what Im seeing from him in his first pre season
  14. Anyone else see a bit of a young Adam Cooney in him?
  15. Kid is going to be a gun. He is ready to go Round 1. Get excited, to think we have AvB, CP5 and Gus to come back thru the midfield with him, look out!
  16. Looks thatnway......could be dangerous, still looks a ripper wicket but will turn on day 4 n 5. If we had to chase 150 could be interesting
  17. Wow, i know this has been said before but .... Didnt see that coming! Shes all over.
  18. Voges has been a useful addition thus far!
  19. And now we have 1 less bowler to try to knock them over! I missed the news why did M Marsh miss out??
  20. So much for looking forward to a couple of sessions tonight. If they are none for 50 odd i will spew up!
  21. Id say shes all over. Cant see us scoring 300 in the 2nd dig and they currently lead by over 250 with 7 wickets in hand. Dissappointing effort thus far.
  22. That was Ashley Sampi.
  23. You have to remind yourself he has played just 21 games of footy... Will be an elite player of the comp within 12 months!
  24. Geez this floored me when I read this. Its incredibly sad for someone so young to be taken this way. My old man paid a rare visit to me in June this year and we sat and watched the Dees together for the first time in over 25 years, and enjoyed a win against the Tiges. Sadly it was also our last game together. He died of cancer less than 3 months later and I had no idea he was sick until after he went home the next day. What a horrible disease. My thoughts and wishes go out to Two Sheds and his family. RIP mate. These 2 examples also make me realise how unbelievable Jimma has been during his fight with this bastard. He is a true warrior and nothing short of an inspiration.
